What's the song that's been sampled, the a-a-aia parts? It must be a well-known song from the 1980s but I just can't remember it.
I was introduced to a 1984 Frank Sinatra version of Mack the Knife with Quincy Jones and it was incredible.
The Continental-European "filter" of the English language can be quite toe-curling, but every now and then it adds a charming ignorance to the song.
I really like this song i just wanne hear it all day long, he has so much emotion in her voice. Lauren Diagle - You Say
"My childhood was small but I'm gonna be big" 80s sci-fi Euro-pop! This made me laugh. I'm not sure if I ever need to hear it again though. Pretty. It sounds like a lot of other things, but there's nothing necessarily wrong with that.
Yes, I agree with you @James from London, I thought it was a song by Adele n the first place but I was wrong big time. But anyway I still think it's a nice song to listen to, even though it sounds like something that has been recorded before, it certainly has a familiar sound.
It sounds like a radio hit. (is it? I don't listen to top 40 music anymore) p.s. I also think it sounds like Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn".
I just found out this was a hit in 2018, it was also a radiohit here in the Netherlands, and hit the #1 charts in the US Christian charts. I also don't listen much to Top 40 music anymore, but this song still playes many times on Skyradio at my work. I dont really hear a "Torn" sound in this song, but maybe it's just me.
