Well! I barely managed to plough through the first series, my goodness what a drag. It looks very dated but definitely not in that pleasant and mesmerizing vintage kind of way. The Italian language (at least in this production) only has two intonations: monotone and shouting angrily, which results in bizarre and over-the-top dialogue and one-dimensional characters. La Piovra is the worst example of "old crap". And this is the price I pay for ignoring my instinct. There was always a reason why I didn't watch this or that series. Epic fail.
