She'll do that when Wayne Northrop walks into the room.
It's only been four years since Lexie died? It's seems like a lot longer than that.
I never liked her anyway. Just as well Tina Andrews wasn't approached for the reprise of Valerie's character. She'd just leave again for the golden opportunity to star in a Sanford Arms reboot.
I'm sure it feels that way for Theo, too. lol SORAS strikes again!
As a rule I don't like recasts, BUT since Valerie left in '82 and I think VAW is awesome, I'm actually excited!
It seems like they invested so much in the Siege of Salem that, now it has ended (maybe) they aren't sure what to write anymore.
VAW NAILED it! I totally accept her as Valerie!
Unreal that Julie would be surprised that Valerie would be cold towards her!!!
I agree. This past week's episodes have been sort of awkward and clunky. I think they are trying to hit us over the head with romantic/light-hearted stuff because of how dark it's been.
Valerie was better for Julie's son David Banning than Brooke Hamilton or Trish Clayton ever were.
I'm continuing to find Days very enjoyable right now.
It's always great to see Kim and Shane again--especially when they are together. Seeing them made me miss Minx, who used to post here before the crash. She would always tune in for a Kim and Shane return. I always enjoyed chatting with her and miss her.
I have to say Theresa's exit story is stupid. After all this time, this guy shows up and decides she has to be with him and she's just going to abandon Brady and her baby? I'm glad she's leaving alive though. I'd like the character back at some point.
Adrienne and Jennifer buying the Spectator is an exciting nod to the shows history and I'm looking forward to seeing where this story is heading.
The new Abby starts next week.
Forgot to mention--I'm on board with the twist that Chole is carrying Nicole and Daniel's baby. It would have been better if the back story had actually played out on screen, but I like the drama potential going forward.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Sonny/Paul/JJ/Gabi/Chad/Jennifer scenes in Thursday's episode.
Yeah, I really hope they don't just have Theresa reject Brady only to end up dead in the end. One can never be sure when it comes to Higley--or Ken Corday, for that matter.
We'll know by the end of this week whether she leaves town dead or alive. In spite of Jen Lilly acting her heart out, this story has really fallen flat for me. Mostly because it came out of no where and then moved way too fast--playing out in a matter of weeks. I did enjoy the scenes between JJ and Theresa. There was some nice closure there and I liked both of them commiserating about what screw ups they both are.
If I owned a DVR, I could have fast-forwarded through yesterday's episode (11/14) in less than ten minutes. Aside from Teresa, Kayla, Victor, and Shane & Kim, it wasn't exactly engaging television.
Now that Hattie's back, I hope the writing will make her more menacing than comical.
I'm not really sure I understand Abby in the attic. Wouldn't being isolated from everyone just further increase her mental instability?
Yeah--it's kind of ridiculous. Her behavior in general since she's been back has been questionable. I hope they explain it by saying she isn't actually cured yet.
I do like the new actress so far, though.
It was nice that the kept Kimberly around for the Thanksgiving episode.
I actually didn't know who this was until I saw her in prison with Hope.
I think she is doing a good job, too, especially considering the workload they gave her predecessor. Still not sure I buy Laura working with Andre--seemed like a really random bit of two characters conspiring.
Agree. Caroline has been hidden from sight for so long now that I am worried about Peggy McKay...
Now that Joseph Mascolo is really dead, this storyline can be taken seriously now.
