If I were a clever youtuber I'd remix that into a 10 hours video.

    Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music

Roxy Music was an English rock band formed in 1970 by Bryan Ferry, who became the band's lead vocalist and chief songwriter, and bassist Graham Simpson.

Roxy Music became a successful act in Europe and Australia during the 1970s. This success began with their debut album, Roxy Music (1972). The band pioneered more musically sophisticated elements of glam rock while significantly influencing early English punk music, and provided a model for many new wave acts while innovating elements of electronic composition.

In total, Bryan and the band had 23 studio albums and 72 singles.

Which ten stood out the most for you

I loved this until around half-way and then I needed a fix of Grace Jones doing it.

I'm not a big fan of his voice, though I do like a few tracks. I'm just going to look at the single releases to try and get 10 really good songs. I would be here until the end of the world if I started working through all those albums and I still have BB to catch up on as well as new Doctor Who and Walking Dead. Then I'm going to tackle songs that DON'T usually appear in the nominations threads.

I could have sworn we already did Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry? And that my top 10 was virtually the same.

Well, with the crash of 16 anything could happen. I did start to wonder the same when I read your post, but I've just looked through my Word documents and can say we haven't done Roxy or Bryan.

    1. Virginia Plain
"Take me on a rollercoaster" - and that's what it sounds like. Even without a proper chorus!

    2. When She Walks In The Room
A gorgeous ballad, and oh! - the piano, the strings, the drums. It's as if Billy Joel and Lee Hazlewood had a baby.

    3. Same Old Scene
The compostion takes centre stage, and the vocals complement the music. It often works better that way (for me).

    4. Tokyo Joe
One of his catchiest, poppy rock songs.

    5. Bête Noire
A very European, cabaret-esque song, and if I didn't know it was Bryan I would have guessed it was a Marc Almond song.

    6. Heartache By Numbers
Initially an ordinary synth-pop track, until the surprising chorus kicks in. Co-written by the Scissor Sisters (if I'm not mistaken).

    7. Both Ends Burning
Because of those fantastic seventies synths that carry the song from start to finish, although it could go on forever.

    8. The Only Face
Wonderfully atmospheric. My only complaint: I'm mentally trying to change his voice into David Bowie's.

    9. Nobody Loves Me
Both the vocals and the sarcastic "woe is me" style remind me of Sparks, but it's definitely Bryan's song, co-written by the musical genius that is Dave Stewart.

    10. More Than This
If I were an annoying youtuber I'd say "The Americans" brought me here.
