    Yes!!!

Imagine how exciting the cliffhanger would have been if we didn't know and it ended where the walker (or so we thought) bent down to avoid Jesus's knife and then turned round to stab him.

No death, no reveal that these were living, just a massive WTF moment.

I'm really enjoying the stories surrounding Alpha and her daughter as well as that herd of whisperers.

But I'm not enjoying much with Michonne, the little brat in the hat and Carol with her 70s hairstyle.

    Holy crap!!!

This week's episode was one the best all series. I thought Alpha sneaking around was a great twist and that itself was pretty unsettling, but nothing prepared me for that ending. It was just as shocking as Carol finally finding her daughter in that barn.

I still don't understand what the point of those Whisperers are, what they get out of what they do, and more importantly, when do they eat and what do they eat. But that aside, I find them totally eerie and yet fascinating to look at.

Saving AMC money by reducing the cast. :D

This season's finale has to be the worst in the whole series. WTF did they think they were doing, GAME OF THRONES?

And as for the voice on the radio... Stephanie? Really, is that the best they can do?

I loved that season. Seasons 7 & 8 were almost a bore fest for me. I really dislike them. Season 9 was a major improvement. Not Season 1/3/4 quality, but it was way better than 7/8.

I didn't mind the season finale. I was expecting a big cliffhanger as episode 5 was, in sort of ways, the big season finale. Episode 16 was more like a introduction to season 10.

Seems like the comics are done now, the last issue was just published. I don't think this universe will last very much longer on TV now as well, the interest of the audience just faded away. As on the main show, the ratings of the current season of "Fear" are a complete desaster as well, all below the 2 million mark now.

I think it'll all be over soon. Maybe the 3 announced "Rick"-movies after season 10 and then that'll be it for "The walking dead".

    Some more graphs:

Here's the one for "The walking dead", showing that it started slowly, grew and then lost the majority of it's audience

Here quite the opposite development to "Fear", the fantasy show "Game of thrones" knew how to grow the interest of it's audience every year:

And now a graph of a show that had a faithful core audience without significant loss from beginning till the end: "Grimm".

    I love those graphs! :danc:

Thinking about this, I don't believe I would miss the show if it did finish. The past few seasons feel to me like they are winding things down. I can't remember the last time I was really excited about the show returning.

As much as I disliked Carl in those early seasons, I reckon it's not been right since they killed him off.

Yes. The mayjor problem is, they shifted the focus to new characters and events istead of further exploring and developing the characters the people still care about.
Sidelining the maincast or killing them off one by one can only go so far. And that clearly shows in the ratings, starting with killing off Abe and Glenn. After that happened, the ratings knew only one direction from season to season : further down. Just look at the graph above, the last episode Abe and Glenn were in, was season 7, Episode 1. The message is clear. Shame the producers are too ignorant to see it.
