Do you have them - if so, how often? Is it somewhat common for men to have them, or are they reserved for bipolar men?

It's no secret that women can have them. PMS often being the reason, which is actually only imbalanced hormones.

I have been both annoyed (even irritated) as well as depressed today. And tired. I am not a fun person to be around today. I had to pretend to be really busy today so I wouldn't snap at some poor soul that annoyed me for any tiny reason.

Now I feel more like "why am I even alive? Life is boring and pointless and I feel like utter crap. I want an asteroid to hit and wipe out all life on earth right now".

In 2 days, I will laugh at this text.

It has been explained to me that men do not suffer from this disease--they are only carriers.

I know what you mean. I have mood swings too. Especially if it's that time of the month. *sigh*
I guess it's not much to do about it. It is what it is. We all have our good and bad days and it's just part of life. Besides if we would never have a bad day we wouldn't know how to truly appreciate a great day. So hang in there. You'll feel better tomorrow. :hb:

I felt better after a nap. Woke up like a much happier person.

No wonder some men fear PMS in their girlfriends or wives. When we can't control or explain our own mood swings, and anything can make us snap some days of the year, I'd be on my toes as well.
