Cole could have made it work with Li-Ying Chi Lee, so much they should have left for Oz and set sail together. Oh yes the winemaker and a seismologist, a heavenly match. Yes / No / Maybe?

I don't think there's many earthquakes in Australia so she'd be on the dole.

Chloe, this could have worked, if Cole had encouraged her to get into the wine business and they would have made a product, like the world has never seen.

Emma and Dwayne have looked at the house; they are planning to reside in. They have been sharing views about it, in the mansion living room. Just at that Chao-Li’s daughter Li-Ying appears from her seismology studies, (a scene from season 5, 1985-‘86):

    Emma: “Hi Li-Ying!”

    Li-Ying: “Hello!”

    Dwayne: “Hi!”

Dwayne: “It’s the best I can afford.”

Emma stands on the staircase and replies,

“Free would be too much to pay. Dwayne I have money but it’s wasted if you won’t let us spend it on us.”

Dwayne: “Where I can come from that’s not the way we do things.”

Emma is getting frustrated and goes up the stairs: “Why wasn’t I born poor.”

Li-Ying: “Money always such a problem in this country?”

Dwayne: “No lack of money is.”

Thankfully no, but I experienced the 5.6 Earthquake here in Newcastle on the 28 December 1989 which killed 13 people. Once is enough in my lifetime. Australia does have many earthquakes but because the country is so massive they hardly register.

Li-Ying was certainly a world apart from Melissa but Cole did seem to enjoy her company.

Is that where the expression "shipping a couple" comes from?

That reminds me of a friend I have who is a qualified Volcanologist who has worked for the NHS for about 12 years in Admin and HR.
