    Joy Division are on course to land inside the Top 10 - currently at Number 5 - with the 40th-anniversary reissue of their debut album Unknown Pleasures. The British post-punk band's critically acclaimed record failed to chart upon its original release and later peaked at Number 71 in August 1980 after the death of lead singer Ian Curtis.

    one of my friends at school was mad on Joy Division, i wasnt so much a fan back then, and preferred New Order but years later came to appreciate it more

    you cant beat a bit of late 70/early 80s tho!

    Same here and I only really remember Love Will Tear Us Apart. I started to dip into Joy Division when The Killers won me over with their cover of Shadowplay. I liked some of the stuff, but it requires a certain mood for me to go back.
