The seventh season had the most guest stars, in a single season of the series. Which guest star was your favourite?

For elimination, I´ll say Lauren Hutton. The others were underwritten, annoying, OTT and even tacky...

I forgot Miss Sauget who was acted by Leslie Caron, so I edited the poll list to include the glamourous diva.

I wasn't a massive fan of any of their characters but I voted for Nicole Sauget because I loved her theme tune.

I loved how Nicole came in completely unintimidated by Angela and seemed to be a formidable adversary for her. Angela won in the end, of course, but it added some nice tension.

Roscoe Lee Browne I guess. He was in the most episodes than any of the others and I found him as Rosemont to be entertaining, along with his 13 group.

Yep Roscoe Lee and Leslie would be the pick of them. I liked how as an African American actor he obtained such a prominent guest role, in the action packed seventh season. Rosemont was cool and deadly. You did not go into a dark alleyway if he was there, otherwise it would be the wooden topcoat.

Angela was successful in driving Melissa crazy. Except she didn't count on her young neighbouring vintner wrecking the Falcon Crest winery, (a scene from season 7, 1987 - '88):

Angela is in her study on the phone, to the special effects wizard Foster Glenn (portrayed by Buck Henry).

FC's grape granny tells him: "You've created a monster. I thought you were going to put Melissa in the funny farm."

Foster: "She is crazy, isn't she?"

Angela: "She is more than crazy. She has chopped up my winery, with an axe."

    Foster: "Bad luck!"

Angela: "Well you've got to turn her around."

Foster: "I'm a special effects man, not a shrink. It's not my fault your scheme backfired."

    Angela: "Just do something!"

Foster: "You made your own bed Mrs. Channing. Sleep in it."

The conversation ends. Although Angela clearly wanted more talk, as she looks at her phone.

Roscoe Lee Brown always gave me the impression he was a class act in real life. I read a story about him where it seems that he was the only person John Wayne allowed to call him by his first name, Marion. I can't confirm the veracity of the story, but I like to believe it's true.

Rod Taylor didn't come into season 7 until towards the end of this particular season and I thought he was one of the better cast additions in the later years. He had some good scenes with Jane Wyman plus he was one of the Agretti older generation. His main storylines were being reunited with his son Nick in season 8, his emerald mine venture and a blast from a very dark past in the final year. All in all a likeable actor who played ole Frank.

Ya Frank and his yucky raisins. Angela didn't like them either.
