Debra Messing Tells Susan Sarandon To 'STFU' In Reignited Trump Feud
Sarandon, of course, responded with a shout-down of her own.

GTFO! Debra Messing actually told Susan Sarandon on Thursday to “STFU” after the 71-year-old Oscar winner credited President Donald Trump’s “bumbling” for inspiring more women to run for elected office.

“STFU SUSAN,” the “Will & Grace” star tweeted. “Oh yes, PLEASE let’s give Trump CREDIT. I mean how else are you able to walk out on the street. Convince yourself that that this CATASTROPHE of a President who you said was better (than) HRC (Hillary Rodham Clinton) IS NOT ripping children away from parents seeking asylum.”

In addition to slamming Trump’s immigration policies, Messing pointed out Trump’s views on foreign diplomacy, abortion and the environment. “YES, do go on,” Messing sniped at Sarandon.

The spat between the two reignited after Sarandon appeared in a video for Variety, noting that Trump has served as an unintentional catalyst for more diversity among hopefuls for office. “This is a revolution,” Sarandon said. “Maybe things had to get so bad before real change actually could happen. We just have to stay awake.”

Sarandon, of course, later replied to Messing’s call-out, urging her frequent nemesis to avoid getting “all self-righteous.”

The two locked horns during the 2016 campaign for president. Messing, a Hillary Clinton backer, became incensed when Sarandon, who supported Bernie Sanders, suggested in the months leading up to the election that Clinton was more dangerous than Trump and continued to cast doubt on Clinton after she won the Democratic nomination.

Messing revisited those issues as well in her Twitter storm.

What a hero that Debra Messing is. She cares so much about immigrants that she supported a candidate that said she'd send back refugee children fleeing violence in their countries in order to "send a message." And is the article implying that Messing is against foreign diplomacy? Trump has been both for and against diplomacy, but he's ultimately proven himself to be a war monger with his actions in Syria and Yemen, among other countries. And if Messing is against diplomacy, it's no wonder she supported a war monger like Hillary. She says she cares about the environment, but her pal Hillary supported fracking. And since she cares about abortion, I presume she considers herself a social liberal. Social liberals usually support gay marriage too. And yet again, her pal Hillary was completely against it until five years ago. Sarandon is right about Messing being self-righteous, but she's also a huge hypocrite on top of that. All of the faux members of the resistance are, though. They bitch about Trump's evil ways, yet they don't seem to care when his views align with Hillary's.

Isn't it nice to see Messing wag her finger at a fellow actress instead of the corrupt politician who helped give us Trump? She obviously doesn't hold the Democrats to a high standard. They can rig elections, deport children, bomb the Middle East, subsidize the rich and leave the poor living in poverty, and that's okay with her. Only Trump is evil when he does those things. It's lunacy. Sarandon is literally saying that Trump is so awful that he's inspired progressive women to run for office, and that's why Messing is pissed? If anybody needs to "STFU," it's Debra.

Sarandon is right that Trump has been a catalyst for change. So has the corrupt Democratic Party. Both the neocons and the neoliberals need to be kicked out on their collective asses.
