Word is that a new series to be called Superman & Lois starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will show them as a married couple raising a son.

That would seem to kill any chance for a Cain & Hatcher project which would presumably have covered similar ground.

Yep, it's been ordered to pilot on The CW and looks like it's pretty much a shoe-in for a series order. Unless everything goes horribly wrong Superman & Lois will happen.

I wonder if those two (Teri and Dean) were actually "spilling the beans" on that new CW show instead of doing what seemed the obvious (desperately begging for a new role, anything!). I understand that channels tend to think that in the convention circuit it´s better to give something to talk about, even if it sounds as unlikely as that. I also thought that the "supercouple" looked a bit like forcing their dialogue too much... as in acting?

No, I think it's something they really wanted to do. Cain even reportedly wrote a script for it. I never heard any reaction from the studio, though.
