The world of the web moves so quickly that some websites are hidden away, gathering dust like an old Roman ruin. Here are some I have found, do you know any others? Dutch website - http://frankvink73.tripod.com/ Fan fiction - http://rts-episodes.tripod.com/ Nitpickers -http://www.dallas.to2k.co.uk/index.html I always loved Nitpickers, thank goodness someone had the sense to save it from it's original geocitities location Charlene Tilton online http://lucas167.tripod.com/charlenetiltononline/id7.html These ones are dead now but in the archive http://web.archive.org/web/20010413215448/http://www.jrewing.com/ http://web.archive.org/web/20010614221557/http://members.aol.com/enfuego892/jr.html?mtbrand=AOL_US There were loads more, some good ones. Dallas had only been off the air for five years , so it was still very fresh in people's minds. There must be more lurking around....
Ben's Dallas fansite is SO bad and mid-90s It reminds me of my favourite La Toya Jackson fansite: http://www.latoyalove.com/
Yeah some of those old sites have you sore eyes. All those old Geocities sites with animated gifs, and colours like you had taken a magic mushroom.
These were the links on my Dallas and BBG sites back in the day, Luke's Charlene Tilton site was the first I found online in 2000 and I realised there was someone out there like me! an avid Dallas collector and addict of original Dallas. I learned so much from Luke and former member Christo re starting a web site and online technology. I will always be grateful and I miss them both around! Tripod.com were dreadful for pop ups and caused one computer to crash! The official web site of Barbara Bel Geddes established by her family following her death in August. http://www.barbarabelgeddes.com/ The best Dallas site on the internet http://www.ultimatedallas.com/ Sites relating to Dallas and Cast Members Official Larry Hagman Site http://www.larryhagman.com/ Official Linda Gray Site http://www.lindagray.com/ Official Victoria Principal Site http://www.victoriaprincipal.com/ Some of my favourites Howard Keel http://www.geocities.com/howardkeelhomepage/ Deborah Shelton http://www.deborahshelton.net/ Charlene Tilton http://lucas167.tripod.com/charlenetiltononline/ Site devoted to wonderful Barbara Bel Geddes http://pcbbg.tripod.com/index.html More Dallas related sites A great new Dallas site http://www.dallasfanzine.com/ A great site with unique photos http://dallasphotos.tripod.com/ A Spanish site about Dallas http://es.geocities.com/mundodallas/ Larry Hagman site http://home.comcast.net/~lmcintyre62/larryhagman Dallas site http://mrsjrewing.tripod.com/index.html An Italian site about Dallas http://www.dallasforever.com/ Joshua Harris (Christopher Ewing) site http://joshharrisfan2003.tripod.com/
I can’t tell if this is part of a bigger site on my phone, but it’s unquestionably stunning: http://community.fortunecity.ws/lavender/monkeys/146/takapa.html (I stumbled upon that one when looking for an image for the ABC of Dallas thread) EDIT: ah, it is! A Jock Ewing site: http://community.fortunecity.ws/lavender/monkeys/146/ and in a slightly different vein, I love these irreverent reviews, and really wish she hadn’t stopped! http://dallasreviewed.blogspot.com/
I remember many of those. There was also one for Charlie, I think the actress got scared. Can't recall the exact details. Some of the sites for the kids had a bit of an odd vibe.
Gosh those are really old school. The days when people didn't care if the text was overwhelmed by the background
This is the "Charlie" webpage: https://www.shalane.de/ The Shalane McCall Appreciation Site Also this was the first Dallas webpage I stumbled across when I first learnt how to surf the Internet way back in 1996: http://www.dallas-online.de/dfc-2008/index_2008_fr.html The Dallas Fan Club Stuttgart. Naturally I joined it.
I had never noticed the porcelain dogs frequent appearances until the nit picker site I think I printed off everything they had and put it in folders I bought a DVD off the guy which had 3 Dallas related interviews from USA/Canada I was new to the internet and it cost a small £££ in printer ink! I soon stopped
@Barbara Fan, "Mundo Dallas" was my first ever Dallas site and its content was transferred to my current site "Supersoaps". Later on I added many more pages devoted to the other major soaps, and it still is (and probably will always be) in the works...like him...
And mine! (It´s the easiest way to find a quote or specific event on an episode, and uses the original numbering!!)
