Interesting. But I wonder how this reunion can take place considering the situation with the virus, or is it like another one of those online things?

I just read the article and yep the reunion takes place online! :)

I just watched the episodes with the actors from "Glee" and "Desperate Housewives" and both were a lot of fun. Sadly, they are not technique-savvy (moi neither) but these guys seem to be fans of all the genres and shows they cover. I´m happy they will do this and hope they will have a guest star (they did in the DH one!).

PS: Karin, they do it from their respective homes, it´s safe for everybody! You can watch here the previous specials:

    Yikes! :hiding:

I wonder if this means VP would have wanted to take part in this event if she had been invited?

"I was not invited..." Here is our motivation for another 5 years of VP-centric threads...Gotta love that woman.

Why would she want to be invited if she doesn’t ‘need’ Dallas anymore?? Thought it was her past?? She also no longer acts and it’s for the Actors Fund - not that’s she can’t donate - but I find it fascinating that seems to be making a (bitter) point here?

Walking contradiction. :NI: :rolleyes: Here we go again!! :laughs:

    P
I don't blame her for calling Charlene out for giving the false impression that Victoria turned them down and using a crocodile tears emoji, when they hadn't even invited her to participate. Victoria let the negative comments Charlene hastily backpedaled on years ago go without saying anything publicly, but she's probably had enough.

It sure sounds like it. When she called in to speak with Patrick, Steve, Linda, and Charlene during an interview a couple of years ago, she really sounded happy to be reminiscing with them.

Victoria attending would have been the icing on the cake and the cherry on top and something the majority of "Dallas fans" would want even if her co stars dont.

However she does more than enough with her wealth to fund good causes.

I did, it's a shame that she wasn't invited. She seems to be a more loyal friend to her castmates than they are to her.

Wow. She really gets under your skin, doesn't she? I can almost guarantee that she still pays her annual Screen Actors Guild fees and therefore, she's still an actress. One who chooses to be out of work but nonetheless, still available if she chooses.

Patrick Duffy left Dallas because he didn't want to be one of many in an ensemble cast...and insisted on being killed off. Yet, he wasn't getting a lot of starring roles and went back. His going back, damaged the show in a manner it never recovered from but he had every right to go back and I don't care that he still feels like he needs to participate in any and everything DALLAS now.

Victoria can turn down those horrid autograph shows where people line up to pay $25 or more for a a brief second with their yesteryear celebs. I don't blame her for that and the others have the right to charge people for the privilege of a meet'n greet with them if they want. I'm glad that Victoria is selective with her Dallas participation. It's even entertaining how she irritates people like you....almost like an episode of DALLAS.

I'm merely stating the obvious here but if Victoria had been asked and decided to participate, the event would've been better for it and maybe we could hear some fresh stories.

This gave me a good laugh, something we all need in this social climate...

An aside, I adore Victoria's social media presence, she might be a multi millionaire but she comes across as a relatable animal mama.

Absolutely, i love the fact that she made a huge success at something totally non related to acting and made a fortune which she seems to put to very worthwhile causes - her posts and pics are great, she is fun and she replies to you which is even better. She seems very happy and contented away from her previous showbiz lifestyle

Her career now isnt talking about Dallas then, she moved on - as do many other people who were part of a successful show - dont hold that against her. I dont think BBG would have sold herself and her autograph for $$ - it wasn't her style and its not VPs.

I think that there are some people who are jealous of her and what she has achieved post Dallas.

Absolutely, something different, something fresh, a different take, and if they plug TNT version of Dallas i think i will ask Ray to get the shotgun out of the hall cupboard. It all gets a bit same- ey after a while.

If Victoria had been asked to the 30th AT SF, i would have been a happy girl and not irked that my $1000 ticket with the 1st 100 people to buy it (i was ticket number 8) and cocktails with the cast turned out to be a big lie. She is still a huge Dallas catch and a bit of an enigma now.
