So Gary is Phelan mark II.

Evelyn and Roy work so well together, those scenes are a joy to watch.

I'm totally loving Bernie Winter and her two children, Apollo and Gemini.

    Not forgetting Gemini's boyfriend, Chutney

A burning question I've had for quite a long time.

Why is it okay to prepare meals in the Bistro without having to wear a hat?

That was a great twist with Jan at the end of last night's episode and now I hope he can get back with Eileen and continue to live on the street.

I'm impressed at how quickly the Emma/Fiona/Steve story is developing.

And kinda off-topic, I love this photo of JPS and his son

I don't care about the Bailey's. I did smile at Nick when Max was hitting him. The scenes with Emma and Amy were nice at the station only spoilt by Gemma and Chesney.

I'm unsure. I love Aggie and I think Ed has lots of potentials, but the sons still have a long way to go. In fairness to James, he hasn't actually done anything, but Michael has done the most and I find stories based around someone trying loads of mini inventions that are clearly a waste of money, really hard to watch.

I don't know how Robert goes out of the show, but I hope he doesn't go with Michelle. Vicky might be loud, but I find her far prettier than Michelle and much more deserving of Robert. Then again, I'd like to see Vicky & Tyler stay on the show.

Vicky was a slag when she first appeared and Tyler was a thug. Miraculous turnaround .

Where did the "let Hope in" placards magically appear from when Evelyn, Tyrone and Brian were locked in the headmistress's office?

Evelyn didn't have these with her when she gate crashed the meeting and went in to the office.

I loved the scene in the corner shop with Evelyn and Sinead. Well written and perfectly played.

I really didn't like the reference to the heart attack Mary pulled to get Ed inside. Not necessary and absolutely nothing to prank someone over :(

Loving Sinead and Daniel - their performances are great. I'm just so happy I haven't seen Leanne in such a long time!!!!

Apparently, Sue Devaney who played Debbie Webster (Kevin's sister) in 1984 is back on the Corrie cobbles next week.

They are playing Sinead's story really well. Never did I think I could be affected or feel anything towards the character of Snead back when she was with Chesney. I also love the little things like looking at the sky and realising that we take so much for granted.

On one hand, I want to say they are covering Sinead's story beautifully and tragically and then, on the other hand, I want to say WHY THE F!!! must they make a big drama out of it with Bethany losing her notebook and Beth then handing it to Sinead????

The kiss was awful and yet I really can understand how it happened. I thought this part of the story was brilliant and how many people forget to focus on those that will be left behind. Even bringing Ken into the story was a great twist, but it should have stayed there and maybe play a part on Daniel's mental health after Sinead has gone.

They always have to squeeze as much drama as they can when it certainly doesn't need it.

Wow! Tonight's episode with Sinead and Daniel totally knocked me for six. It was like nothing I've seen on Corrie and took me right back to when Damon died in Debbie's arms. "I'll just lie here and drift off"

It was brilliant but I could do without Beth and Ken butting their noses in to the situation. Daniel's having a hard enough time. And what the hell is up with Tracey?

I flicked the channels and there was Corrie, thought id watch since the above posts were full of praise and what di i get????

More contrived, fake, cringeworthy and very badly acted story involving Gemma (God she is awful) and Chesney (he is awful too) in a cable car, dropping engagement ring over board and giving birth ................................................................................................

WHY OH WHY DOES CORRIE DO THIS???????

one day someone will get in a car, drive to hospital and give birth in a bed!

I will pop back in another year or so!! Did like Maureen Lipman tho, true class and head and shoulders above the majority of the cast (But from what i saw there wasnt a lot of competition in that episode)

Ah, well, you should have stayed at the party BF...

The whole Sinead/Daniel was brilliant TV, and the best character death since Alma, even the actress playing Sinead played a blinder and yes, even Beth, though Kirk, Chesney & Craig were weak. The story itself was that good I could give those three a free pass.

Then, after a few fantastic episodes along comes Gemma and Chesney and the chaotic birth of the quads. Honestly, it's like watching a different programme. But alas, this is Corrie and even when we get stupidity and nonsense, I still find lots to love about it. The current story with Yasmeen and Geoff is getting really good, though I say that in a weird way because watching Geoff abuse Yasmeen is quite uncomfortable and he's a character I can genuinely hate.

Now I'm just waiting for Michelle to go.
