I agree Ome, It wasn't meant to be funny but I couldn't help but smirk. I know i am sick. :giddy:

However I do think Corrie should leave the stunts to its sister show.

I had no idea another BIG Drama (unrealistic once more) was about to happen on CSI Corrie
It was well done, the effects were great and jack P shepherd was brilliant

but the whole plot and keeping David locked in the cellar is way off beam, and Corrie should stick to gritty northern drama, pathos and comedy

I googled a few Hilda Ogden scenes and they were full of strong powerful, witty woman of the 70s and 80s, carla filled that role but there are precious few who could do it now.

PS Wouldnt be sorry if Anna and her gleaming white teeth, went of to meet her maker in the Pearly skies

I agree Jack P Shepherd is superb. Although the effects were better in Emmerdale, if I am being truthful I did enjoy Coronation Street more, but I think in general at present I am enjoying Coronation Street more than Emmerdale right now and find it more of an easy watch, which is what I want.

Memo to the big bods at itv: We don't need big soap week, we never have. I want good character driven drama, good storytelling 52 weeks of the year, without the hoo ha and all that jazz. I think someone at itv towers has been watching too much US TV. Don't forget this is Manchester and Leeds not Denver or Santa Barbara.

I was highly amused and nearly tumbled off my scorpion chair in merriment at Emmerdale's crash as car after car went piled up. Coronation Street's was fun too and I was laughing at David inside the moving car and the explosion. My mother watches every episode of both show but she told me that she truly didn't like the carnage and nearly switched off from both, so that's a thumbs-up from me.

I'm trying to figure out if I think Corrie can pull off such dramatic scenes like they did last week...it's ok for Dallas...not sure about the cobbles of Weatherfield.

A little melodramatic for someone of my refined taste.

Kevin is a real hard case, Sar. One of the scariest. At the moment, I would rate him as the second hardest bloke on the street after the bloke in the flat cap. He really scares me and I don't scare easy.

Here's how they filmed the dramatic car stunt sequence.

What the hell was Robert on about with Anna? Why does he care and how come Nick never hit back at him about his drink driving earlier in the year?

Why is Sinead having tantrums over this new business set up, she didn't put any money into it. Why has no one said that to her?

What's Michelle's problem with Amy knowing about her pregnancy?

Who stuck a rocket up Kev's arse? Does he really care about Anna or is he more annoyed that her legs will be lacking skin?

So many mardy people last night, that I'm now feeling mardy!!

I wish Audrey had slapped Kevin across the mush. A moaning little runt of a man.

The Platt scenes were good with Gail and David and Ben Price was excellent.

Just loved Norris going to the court to hear the verdict, something Blanche would have done if she was still here. And a nice bit of comedy in the cafe with Rita and Norris and Aidan trying to get served.

Finally Eva was highly amusing when Aidan said if he ever had to be gay he would pick Nick as his partner. Line of the night goes to Eva "Nick Piggin Tilsley." [IMG] I would like to see those scenes with Nick and Aidan. It's worth the licence fee alone. [IMG] Forget Robron we want Aidick. [IMG]

Gemma and Craig make a lovely couple. I imagine that, to begin with, they will hardly ever make it out of the bedroom.

Why are Kev & Gary wearing a plastic apron?
