Should Alexis have talked to dignitaries, mobsters and heads of state from there?
It's the same office isn't it? Just redone? Or was that the one Jeff had and got poisoned in?
All three are the same office re-done, and are supposed to be. But we never heard nor saw the safe room again after the Logan Rhinewood stuff from S2.
Maybe this was the secret room where the consortium began only to rise a decade later ;-)
Wasn't there a Consortium mentioned in season 6, though? During the whole Big Battle between Blake and Alexis, and that was how she tricked him into signing over some leases to her or something?
It would have been cool if she had been sitting in that same safe room while she played Blake.
Doesn't the position of the door change drastically by the time Alexis has the office?
No, I think it was always in the same place. I *think*, I could be wrong...
Yes, the door is in the same place but wasn't a double door when Cecil had it.
Mentioned yes, but it wasn't real. After it was too late anyway, Farouk Ahmed offered Blake in their final conversation, that the "consortium" that gave him all that money is ... Alexis Colby.
That's right, that's how it was.
If there was a mention of the consortium in season 6 I seriously doubt TPTB would remember a throwaway remark five years later and tie the events of season 6 to the reunion, heck they had a hard enough time pinpointing the birth dates of the Carrington children
Besides TPTB weren't that good at the art of foreshadowing at this point ;-)
But the sets were moved to another studio between S2 and S3, so who knows what was and wasn't the same?
And they moved the headstones but not the bodies--aka the job titles but not the writers.
