Bobby to the bartender.
Do any of you remember the bartender's reply to Bobby?
"Sure thing Mr. Ewing." "Anything you want Mr. Ewing". "Glad to help Mr Ewing". "Would you like my kid sister, Mr. Ewing".
Ray to Lucy in the hayloft in the pilot episode
"I brought her to a couple barbecues."
There's that dreaded red 'X'. Sorry Guzz. It was Ray to JR in the evening outside, after Jock was smoking "What things?" and calls JR a jackass.
"Oh, about five years, Senator Barnes."
doh, of course! I looked back and Lucy was the one who brought up the barbecues in the hayloft.
since I was in that episode ‘researching’... The above quote is former Ewing Oil courier Phil Bradley, who JR predicted would be spilling his guts by noontime.
"We've seen a hundred like him come and go."
is that Wild Bill Orloff to Jock about Cliff?
"He probably sees that as another Ewing atrocity."
that’s definitely Jock - is it the same conversation with Wild Bill, regarding Bobby marrying Pam, asking if Bobby might be able to get Cliff to back off?
"The Senator is a little bit older than that stadium, you see. He was probably sitting there when they built the place."
No, his reply was "it's your funeral."
Orloff quoting his secretary to Jock re: when Texas Stadium was built.
"I never did understand what Southworth saw in those steers but I do now."
This one is too easy...no takers?
Jock to Miss Ellie, surely!
"If JR died, I truly could not mourn."
Damn! I know it! But I don't....
Valene to Gary after JR was shot.
You're good at that sort of thing...a lot better than I wanna be.
Bobby to JR?
"You put her through hell and that's the last time you do that!"
Sounds like it could be Bobby or Mark referring to Pam. ???
Bobby to Wes Parmalee re Miss Ellie.
