    I've taken my time with this one through the week so as to avoid that 'oh I should have nominated that one' feeling. And I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed the search through the music in my collection and whatever else I could find or remember. I've avoided nominating songs I've nominated before, even though there were a few which would have been perfect for this. Luckily a couple of those ended up being nominated by others anyway. I'm certainly looking forward to delving into everyone else's lists.

    I'm usually a little OCD when it comes to songs I haven't nominated before, but this time I took 3 songs from previous rounds because the strings are so overtly significant.
    Not that I expect y'all to remember every song I've nominated.
    I save all my nominated (exclusive) titles in an excel list (the current score is 1884) and even I myself don't recognize all the songs.

    There now follows a delay because my comp is in the PC hospital and I have no idea how long it will be there. Unlike our NHS the PC hospital are not constantly waiting for beds. I’ve been told it could take up to 5 working days before a diagnosis, though I’m sure it won’t take that long. Assuming that whatever they find, it can be repaired. The horrors are unthinkable if it couldn’t be repaired.

    All my SC music documents are on there so I can’t further our quest for new discoveries until I get that back. I can (obviously) reply to threads by phone but I won’t be spending much time doing that. A smart phone it maybe, but not smart enough for me to enjoy using it on SC.

    Some get well wishes wouldn’t go a miss, but don’t go out of your way.

    Sounds lovely.

    I also like Kylie Minogue's version, it could have been a scene from a Terry Gilliam movie.

    Not sure about anyone else, but I know I need the time. I haven't looked at a nomination since Angela posted his and I was never going to try and start listening to them on my phone.

    Same here. I was expecting to have wi-fi so thought I'd be able to carry on as normal here. But it turns out I could only access the wi-fi if I stood on tiptoes halfway up the stairs, which isn't ideal for listening to nominations.

    When I go through the nominations, I pick out anywhere between 3 and 5 songs from each member. Then I select the 10 I like best. This time, I will let you in on a secret... The 5 songs I chose from each member are in this post. First my top 10 list, then the songs that made the cut but not the top 10 list.

    1. Crusoe - Cinerama --- @Willie Oleson
    2. National Anthem - Lana Del Rey --- @Justine
    3. And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going - Bonnie Tyler --- @Mel O'Drama

    8. First Of May - Bee Gees --- @Willie Oleson
    9. You're My World - Cilla Black --- @Justine
    10. Show Me Love (America) – The Wanted --- @Ome

    And the songs that made the first cut, but not the cutthroat second:

    @Mel O'Drama
    Lacrymosa - Evanescence
    If You Leave Me Now - Chicago
    Can't Get You Out Of My Head [Abbey Road Sessions] - Kylie Minogue
    As Good As New - ABBA

    @Angela Channing
