Just to say that I have just read that Joan Collins is getting a part in Titans and she will be playing Alexis again.

I also just wondered with Titans around the corner who exactly feels they will watch it?

Someone pointed out to me thats its being sold as a primetime soap which hasn`t really happened. Other people are calling it Dynasty 2000 (please no).
I am hoping its good, I know Victoria plays Gwen Davis, night club owner who hates her ex husbands new young wife, she has 2 daughters, one who is very shy and introverted the other an alcholic. She also has 2 sons, one who is adopted and very much a schemer (rather like Adam Carrigton but better looking). Gwen (VP) from my understanding is an Abby Ewing type of person.

Will the Davis family become the Dallas of the Minnenium? I feel we have had other soaps but these have all been aimed at teens
and this seems very much in par with the 80`s dramas but with a modern edge.

Obviously they are all rich folk. Do people think that a show about rich people will interest viewers in the year 2000?

I can truly say that I enjoy Victoria Principal very much as an actress. But I just couldn't take her Pam character in Dallas towards the end. I liked her spunk at the start of Dallas. But once she started to whine and cry most of the time, I just wanted to scream! I liked the old "Don't push me around" Pam. It's too bad that the writers didn't change the character back to the original Pam. I don't blame Victoria for wanting to leave for better parts. I would get tired of that part very fast. I truly liked her character back at the beginning of Dallas. She stood up for herself against J.R. In fact, she seemed to be the only female that could truly hurt J.R. if she really wanted to.

I have watched Victoria throughout the years since she left Dallas and her characters she protrayed were all done very well. I have seen her on several talk shows and she seems to be very intelligent, sweet and I love her laugh as several people have already stated. I really enjoyed her character on Providence. She played a vemanous character very well. I think she's just so known for her "Pam" character for so long. Whenever you see her name, Dallas is right next to it or she's introduced as one of the famous Dallas characters. She just smiles and goes on. She has so much talent and I think she will be an excellent back-stabbing character on Titans. She has already shown she is multi-talented. I for one will be watching Titans. I liked the character that Joan Collins played as Alexis. I just watched her on Will & Grace and she played that same "bitchy" character. She just does it so well. I think Victoria will have to proove her self worthy against Joan Collins though. I'm sure she can pull it off and just being able to watch both go at each other will be a lot of fun! I look forward to when the series starts. Good luck, Vicky!

When is Titans on? I know it's been said before, but I've forgotten. I try to watch all of the Dallas characters when I can. bobby and pam were my faves, so I'll definitely give Titans a try.

I just wish the producers would dump that old stereotype of a middle-aged woman whose husband left her for a younger woman. I'd love to see a middle-aged woman who left her husband for a younger man (not as young as the women the husbands leave for), and whose ex-husband is now spiteful. Wouldn't that be a change? I'm TIRED of seeing men like Sean Connery with much younger women like Catherine Zeta-Jones. And as a consumer, I'm not buying into it any more!

As Alexis or as an Alexis-like character?

I hope they don't try to push off Dynasty on us, I couldnt stand it when I tried watching it before, I sure as hell am not going to now. Hopefully, if they do decide to use Alexis, it will be in a very minor, very temporary role.

Titans premieres this fall on NBC.

It's a Spelling production, which means he owns Dynasty and the right to use those characters so it will more than likely be the real Alexis. It also means the show will probably be very Dynasty like as opposed to Dallas like. It all means the thing will probably stink big and be a grown up 90210 :-(.

    Pam Ewing,

I believe Titans will air on Wednesdays nights at 9 p.m. on NBC. I could be wrong on the time but I'm sure on the day. I for one will be watching. Yeah me too, I'd like to see woman with younger men. VP's made for tv movie she did about three years ago was about a middle age woman who's husband left her for a very much younger paralegal and then VP's charachter up and decides to move back home with her college roomate and meets a very much younger man who's an electrician. The movie was called "Love In Another Town" adapted from a novel by Barbara Taylor Bradford. I liked the movie and I like Adrain Pasdar(Hot! Hot! Hot!) who played Jake Cantrell VP's love interest. VP even had a baby in that movie and she was 42? 43? A sad twist in the movie though, Jake's wife dies of overian cancer which causes he and Maggie(VP)to part ways but it's so obvisious the love they have for each other. Poor Jake he only did what he thought was right but as we all know most things come with a happy ending. Check out Lifetime tv for a repeat showing of this movie. It's definately a watcher :-)

Wednesdays at 9 on NBC is The West Wing. Huge mistake if they plan on moving that show, which wouldnt surprise me because the big wigs that run that network are morons.

From what I know, a day has not been set, but Titans will definitely premiere this fall. (Premiere week is usually the end of September or sometime in October.)

From the shows NBC has on now, I would guess they either show Titans on Mondays (opposite Ally McBeal, which would be an idiot move), or Tuesdays. However, NBC loves to revamp every day except Thursday, so who knows.

I think that if this show is Dynasty-Like,
then they will have some serious problems.
I will check it out, but if is anything like Dynasty, or what 90210 turned into, I'll drop
it real fast (as will probably most of America.) I don't know, I'm skeptical.

Excuse me, I correct myself. According to Soap Opera Digest, Titans will air on Wednesday nights at EIGHT PM. That time slot is right before West Wing, and then Law & Order at 10. A good night of television.
