Is Susan Flannery Leaving B&B?

Someone on a Dallas Forum thread says that Susan Flannery has cancer and is leaving The Bold And The Beautiful.

Does anyone know if this is true? I haven't heard anything about it. I hope not. I love Susan and she is the main reason I started watching the show.

I read she was resigning, but does plan on retiring sometime in the next couple of years.

As for the cancer, I don't think thats true. I have never heard that before.

Didn't hear that one, but her hair was very very short, almost a buzz cut, several months ago, which happens when you have treatments for cancer, don't know for sure though.

I for one am glad she is staying. Wouldn't be the same without Stephanie around

I hope it's not true, but if she does have cancer than I pray she has a speedy recovery. I've never seen in her in anything but Dallas, so she will always (unfortunately) be Leslie Stewart in my mind. I'm not knocking Susan's acting, I just don't think the writers wrote that great of a part for her. She should never have played a love interest for J.R., I don't think she was his type.

I hope she is not leaving and I pray she does not have cancer. I can't imagine Bold and the Beautiful without Susan.
I also like Susan Flannery in the Towering Inferno.

She doesn't have cancer, thats just a stupid rumor.

People thing she might retire after her contract runs out, but I dunno about that. She'll probably stick around for more years.

Well I don't know if she currently has it or is in remission but I remember reading somewhere at one point she DID have cancer.

A few years ago she had cancer in her leg and thats why she needed a cane and she was in remission. I hope it is not but it is possible that it is back. I don't know why the doctors on the show are giving her months to live. She has been off and on the show and her hair is thinner than it was before. She'll tell us when she is ready and maybe she is keeping it quiet with her family. If she does and doesn't make it I think they should end the show. I don't see the show without her. Who would keep Brooke in line. Well, I will pray for her. Maybe she'll have a miracoulous recovery on the show. They do it all the time.
