The way they gave hints of Steve's father with Anne knowing as well as Greg suspecting of knowing made me wonder.
Galveston wasn't in the list because he was done and forgotten with but it's like Steve's father was supposed to be someone the viewers already knew.
Who did you have in mind? Mack?

It's a long time ago but I believe it did cross my mind that Mack might be Steve's father.
