i can see the finale being cliff barnes.. barnes global owns / seizes southfork and ewing energies..... but it is a truism if you think about the early years it was for destiny for barnes to own southfork... but if john ross married pamela and if christopher owns 1/3 barnes global then that could be how the ewings return to southfork... it could be also cliff has a heart attack after he seizes southfork since he never lived on southfork and it would not be his destiny to live ever at southfork...

There is a VALID point to this Lucas Ewing Krebbs male character returning as "BOBBY's FULL SON"...this is something Cidre and writing team should consider for the last few shows of 2013 not filmed yet...it certainly tosses a wrench into the mix for rightful heirs and plausible turmoil between whiny Chris (watta do you mean I have a brother I didn't know that...dad you didn't tell me for 25 years that's bullshit) versus Lucas (casted as tall as Duffy and reminds us of Jock Ewing his biological grandpa when younger)...

Christopher does know Lucas is Bobby's son. Charlie spilled the beans to him in the original series when he was a little boy, right before Ray and Jenna's wedding. Christopher didn't take it well. He became jealous and insecure about being adopted. I honestly have no idea is Lucas would know he was a Ewing. Jenna always swore she would never tell Lucas that Bobby was his father. They were going to raise Lucas as if he was Ray's son. Jenna became an unreasonable bitch toward the end of her time on Dallas, but I can't imagine Ray lying to Lucas about who his real father was.

well we all thought barnes wentworth was gone to jeremy wendell and westar ...so this has always weird that barnes global exists and also as "ewing oil "assets and also "barnes-wenthworth" and its oil assets

wow it has already been a leap of logic that ewing oil is part of barnes global but think about it jr blackmailed jeremy wendell to get back ewing oil assets well that could mean including "barnes wenthworth" also at that time

when cliff takes over ewing oil at the end of the original series he therefore takes over barnes wentworth as well maybe he renames it all barnes global

of course the logic has always been "no body but a southworth descendent" can own the mineral rights but that would means if barnes global owns ewing oil he can not own the mineral rights ...

but by that same extension and if cidre is doing revisionist history...maybe a unknown twist is if you can remember..barnes wentworth was created because it bought... wade oil.... lucas wade I...jenna's dad.... and mother of...Lucas Krebbs.... (bobby's true son) maybe the twist is that he (Lucas Krebbs) comes back and takes over the whole thing... Barnes Global ... Ewing Oil... and through Bobby.... Southfork .... (somehow).... I still think Katherine Wentworth killed JR and that is part of this overall plot

this also gives Ray Krebbs the last laugh also.....
