Marcia Cross nominated for Gold Derby Award!!! :)))

My first topic ever!

I googled Marcia the other day and came across her twitter in which there was this information. It took me a while till I found the right info, but here it is:

It is really strange to see that DH are nominated for comedy, as well as Marcia. I want her to win with all my heart (thus my Awards video initiative on YouTube)
but Marcia and comedy? I mean she can do anything but her drama, first and foremost, has deserved all TV awards of this world. Only the three outstanding scenes in S8 - the suicide attempt, the telling off the girls, and reading the suicide letter in court should have won at least nomination for Emmy or Golden Globe. I can't believe she won't win any of these two ever....... what a huge, HUGE injustice.

Nevertheless, I want her to win something for her stellar and brill performance in S8, and not just in S8. The entire DH. Period.

I agree with you it was an awful injustice that she was passed over for an Emmy, she was brilliant this final season of Housewives. HECK she has been brilliant every season of Housewives, she was also Brilliant on Everwood and in Melrose Place!
I hope she wins this award because she truly deserves to win.

I can live with the fact that she lost GG to Felicity because they are equals as for acting, but I can't get over her Emmy loss to Teri. I just can't. Teri is a great actress, but Marcia is better. She should have won some awards for Kimmie too. I don't know if she ever had, did she win any award for MP?

I dont think she did, which if you ask me is a shame. She really has such an amazing talent. I dont think i have seen one thing she has done that i didnt like.
Even Tales from the Darkside. The other 2 actors on there can not act , But Marcia is amazing

You are absolutely right! I can't believe she never won anything for MP, geeeeee!

I hope there is some category for life work... some time in the future..
It's pretty obvious Marcia is not going to work for a while, but let's hope she accepts some roles in future (and they should better be damn straght brilliant) and gets some of the major awards....
