Red Evening Gown Contest

In light of all the recent threads discussing the wardrobe on DYNASTY, I decided to see which red evening gown(s) people like the most. One things for sure, DYNASTY really knew how to make a red dress.

First up: Alexis



Alexis has 5 signature red evening gowns, all astonishingly beautiful.

Next up: Dominique, Constance, Sammy Jo, Monica, Caress



I don't believe Dominique ever wore this dress in the show, but still, she looks stunning. And Caress didn't wear a red evening gown, but I didn't want to leave her out.

Next up: Sable, Krystle, leslie, Kirby



Leslie and Kirby didn't wear red evening gowns, but like Caress, I didn't want to leave them out. Sable looks ravishing, btw. And Krystle rocks the red.

Next up: Amanda



Its a shame Catherine Oxenberg left, she would have made that dress.

Last but not least: Fallon (aka The Lady in Red)



Fallon easily has the most red evening gowns. Some of her red outfits aren't evening gowns, but I just had to include them because she looks so good in them. XD

Gotta be Fallon, in that gorgeous back-revealing dress, and I like her in red.

Alexis was born for black and red, but unfortunately I don't like these puffs or whatever you call it.

Those dresses would have been better off sleeveless, without those poofy bows/sleeve caps/whatever the hell they were.

With her coloring she really rocked the look.

I like the Alexis with Dex dress.

Diahann Carroll looks stunning in that red dress, though. And I really like Pamela Sue Martin in her "portrait" red dress.

And Sable in her beaded red lace dress is wonderful - she didnt wear alot of red but that one was beautiful on her

Am I alone in my hatred of Krystle's saloon gal dress? It looked just as bad on Virginia. Krystle wore several dresses in the later seasons which had dropped waistlines and flouncy skirts that didn't suit her; they looked like they came out of the Juniors department.

Red is Fallon's signature color for good reason, she (both of her) always looks good in it. That red leather dress (is it North Beach Leather or Nolan Miller "inspired by North Beach Leather"? - same for the other red leather outfit) was perfect for that scene. Emma Samms was incredibly sexy in it - especially in the first episode of season nine where she has her natural hair color.

I love all of Alexis' red gowns, especially the one-shoulder dress she wore to Fallon's wedding.

it's a really dramatic dress.... when I had to go to court some years ago I joked to my mother :"I'm wearing my red dress and the big red hut..."
(she knew I was talking about the way Alexis was dressed)

A lot of these pictures arent really "gowns". When it comes to the most red gowns, it is definitely Alexis. Though Fallon had several in red too.

I love the red one shoulder gown of Alexis.

The beaded dress or the whipped cream?
She never wore the beaded dress and fur in the series - it was just the opening credits - although I am wondering if it is the discarded beaded dress that was supposed to be for Elizabeth taylor in HOTEL. The sketch is in the Nolan Miller thread. One sleeved and wrap of same fabric trimmed in fur!?! Maybe!
The background image was in the series - she is at Jeffs apartment and they have a whipped cream fight and he squirts the cream down her tshirt

Yeah, she should definitely get rid of the collar, but otherwise she looks breathtakingly beautiful and sexy... amazing! Love her hair which matches the red so very perfectly.
