Pamela Rebecca's aunt Lucy

Pamela Rebecca must have been born around 1985 (Afton leaving Dallas pregnant with her beginning Season 1984/85). Mitch Cooper would be her uncle. He was then married to (or up to marrying) Lucy making her kind of an aunt to her (as Sue Ellen/Pam were to her).
This could be a good storyline possibility for appearances of Lucy in the future, depends on if and how this secret will be revealed.

If the writers decide to make Afton a part of the story, it would be clever to use her linkage to Lucy as a way of having the Pamela Rebecca secret start to open up. Perhaps Rebecca goes to the hotel where Afton is staying, and Lucy (also staying there) sees them and begins to wonder what Chris's scheming little wifey would be doing with Afton. Given the large number of people at the wedding, I wonder if they could claim that Rebecca doesn't recognize/know Lucy, and does not know she's been "spotted".

I agree. Charlene is clearly devoted to Dallas (unlike, say uh - Victoria Principle). We saw Lucy a few times last season, but we still don't have much information about what Lucy has been doing over the last 20 years. Is Lucy living in Dallas? Did she marry anyone else during the last 2 decades? Does Lucy still have her own fortune and did she inherit money from Grandma Ellie? Does Lucy have any children? What is her connection to her father Gary and her brother and sister? Unlike the '80s, there are lots of intersting possibilities for the character of Lucy. I hope she becomes a more intregal part of Dallas in season 2.

Yes, that would be interesting if she found herself with Lucy and started asking her what Mitch was like, what his mother was like, etc.

Unless Lucy & Mitch reconcilled again, its completely plausible that Lucy wouldn't recognize a grown Pamela Rebecca. I do agree with Daniel Avery though, it would be interesting for Lucy to see Afton & Rebecca together and begin snooping. It'd be a great way to bring Lucy into a significant storyline and still not reveal all the secrets of Lucy's past 20 years, like does Lucy have any kids? The producers might not want to address those type of issues yet, but those topics could still remain a mystery while using her to unravel the mystery of Rebecca.

They've also got a great setup with JR having been in Vegas, for him to solve the mystery, but JR seems broader and more possibilities to fit him in. This would be a great way to use Lucy.

I´m all for Lucy becoming the gossip, boozy auntie who gets into everybody´s business! Charlene would be great playing that, and also flirting with some hunkie guy slightly younger than she is...

Lucy would not necessarily know or recognize Rebecca as "Pamela Rebecca" because she was only married a short time to Mitch (the second time around) and probably would have most likely not kept in touch with the Cooper family after they divorced. Also, the second time Lucy married Mitch, she was living in Atlanta. Afton and her mother were living in another state (I can't remember which), so it is plausible that Lucy would not have known the child. After the divorce and most likely losing touch with the family, Lucy wouldn't know what "Pamela Rebecca" grew up to look like.

^ I don't think anybody is suggesting she should recognize Pamela Rebecca, but they could use that if they do a twist where she's still married to Mitch. But I think what most people are suggesting is that Lucy see Rebecca with Afton and start to put two and two together.
