Gotta go with Team John Ross. I never expected to like him after the first episode when he spoke badly about beloved Miss Ellie, but now that I know a little more about him, I've forgiven him, sort of, as long as he doesn't do it again.

BF, yes, Josh does really well especially in his scenes with Larry. I wonder if while JR is teaching John Ross the oil business, Larry is teaching Josh tricks of the acting trade. Their relationship has been the highlight of this first season, and I predict they'll be the ones to watch next season too.

But I got how he felt - how could she leave all of that (billions) to one son and his family (not to mention the house that I thought meant so much to everyone but Bobby so easily gave away) and not all the others? She JR with at least 1 son, Gary with at least 3 kids, Ray with at least 2 (I say at least because damn did these people have a lot of "others"). I loved my grandmother but I would be hurt. It wouldn't be so much the money as I didn't warrant a consideration and Bobby and Chris should have so much. That was very wrong of her. But then look how wrong Jock's will was.

I think that JR would have slept with Pam or Val in a heartbeat had he had the opportunity. He would have relished it. There's that mix of hatred, power, dominance, and lust, all aphrodisiacs to JR.

You could be right but at best that makes Chris no better then JR. I get he had a relationship with her before but he didn't even let this one end for John Ross. I'm glad he isn't my family. I'd say he might not have earned Rebecca hurting him before she did but he did afterwards.

Poor guy? He is suppose to be friends with John Ross and when John Ross wants at the oil on Southfork to start his own company (just like Chris gets to do with his daddy's money from the sale of Southfork) he turns his back on him. He could have argued with his dad as a geologist and said we could slant drill. He didn't even say to his dad, hear John Ross out. Then when Elena is mad at John Ross instead of letting them work it out or end it properly - he steps in and takes her to a hotel - after weeks of watching him with her and realizing how much he loved her. Poor guy - just made JR look good to me. At least of all the sleazy things JR did he didn't sleep with Pam or Val - and I don't believe he would have if he could have but didn't and Chris did.

Christopher jumps on people's faults and like you said doesn't give them a chance. Elena is like that too.

I agree. I think Bobby should be better then Miss Ellie and give 1/2 to JR. At the very least it would stop JR from always thinking about how he wants it. The drilling issue is taken care of. Bobby and jr lived together on that ranch for decades. They both thought it would be their's together.

I love Bobby....but I think the way everyone keeps saying JR stole SF from him is ridiculous. He SOLD SF for a cool $50 million. Yes, he was deceived about who was buying it. But JR used backers to BUY the ranch. JR certainly used nefarious ways to finally get his hands on SF....but Bobby willingly sold it and he was paid for it.
