Can someone tell me what happened to Ewing oil? They don't talk about itin the new series.

Oil has a bad connotation now. I think the show, by going in the direction of 'Ewing Energies,' and Christopher's methane projects, is attempting to embrace the new alternatives.

I paid $4 a gallon for gas today. That's not the most I've ever paid, either.

Yeah, its obvious they've tried downplaying the oil storyline. I think that's why they never mention Ewing Oil & made the whole fight about Southfork. Made John Ross the villain wanting oil while the good guy Christopher wants alternatives.

I hope they don't continue to downplay it though. Dallas is at its best when they're scheming in business, and that should involve both oil and alternatives.

From what I understand, Ewing Energies will consist of oil (overseen by Elena and John Ross) and alternative energies, like Christopher's methane project. Hence the name change...
