What if she is Rebecca Barnes and not Pamela Rebecca Barnes - here older sister? What if Rebecca was once married to Tommy as well - making her Rebecca Sutter? Sounds interesting.

"Rebecca" used the real Rebecca Sutter's information. Social Security number etc would need to be used, none of it would have been her's so how can it be legal? Unless with all that information down Christopher finds himself to be married to the real Rebecca Sutter...

. Now that would be interesting for him to find out.
i don't remember anything about a social security number or any of that stuff. We don't know she used that information do we? I don't recall that much detail.

Sue Ellen will fight to keep her son from JR - she will show that her loan to Elena had an option of 80% ownership thus giving her 80% of Elena's 1/4. Rebecca will get 1/8 from divorcing Christopher (she was married to Tommy at one time and thus was Rebecca Sutter). Sue Ellen, Rebecca and John Ross will control Ewing Energies and once governor John Ross, controlling his mother's assets, and Rebecca will control Ewing Energies together. Not knowing what happened with Chris and Elena - John Ross and Chris repair their friendship - becoming best of friends as they had been as kids. John Ross will be there for Rebecca when she gives birth - refusing to let these Ewing kids be torn apart by their parents like he was by his. She has a boy named Willard John Ewing (Wills) and a girl named Eleanor Rebecca Ewing (Ellie).
Bobby decides to leave and finally travel - he offers the house to John Ross, seeing how he takes care of his grandchildren and he buys it and Rebecca moves in - asking Elena why is she still there and when will she move out. John Ross tries to get Chris and Rebecca back together.
JR demands a part of Ewing Energies from John Ross. He brings in Marta Del Sol, who's father is a major shareholder in West Star to woo John Ross. JR lives at Southfork when not in Austin - he woos Sue Ellen. JR figures out Frank is manipulating Cliff and with John Ross and Sue Ellen protect Rebecca from Frank while saving Cliff form him - the irony of JR saving Cliff.
Rebecca takes over Barnes-Wentworth, hiring Drew Ramos, an accountant, to represent her. She uses the Barnes lawyers to get Vicente off and uses him as JR uses Bum. She hires a new house keeper at Southfork - an English gentleman.
Elena longs for John Ross.
Lucas arrives - who from the start is the guy everyone loves to hate. He parties with John Ross to nurse a broken heart. He manipulates Chris with Bobby. Bobby gives him 1/8 of Ewing Energies and 1/16 to each of his grandchildren, in trust to John Ross. Lucas is determined to control Ewing Energies for himself. He destroys Ryland and takes his company, 50/50 with Rebecca. They sell it to Ewing Energies for stock.
At the end everyone hates Lucas and he is shot.
Just my ideas - not really predictions. And yes I have expectations but these are not them necessarily. The show doesn't have to go my way but I still believe it needs 1) a strong woman (like Abby Ewing and Angela Channing), a bad guy we hate from the start (like JR, not John Ross who I feel bad for from the start), and at least one good couple that I enjoy watching (bad stuff can happen to them of course, but we can count on them working it out like Jock and Miss Ellie, Karen and Val). I'm not wed to any particulars but these are pieces I came to find in the '80's "soaps" that made them worth watching - and yes without them I would be disappointed because without them I wonder why they needed to use the Dallas premise in the first place.

We didn't see alot of stuff, like a marriage license or any of that. Not married, but I'd assume you need to provide your social security number when applying for a marriage license.

I am married and can't remember - but I can tell you if my wife used hers I wouldn't know one number from another. I even have a friend (named after his dad) who goes by his middle name. I can even see him signing paperwork with his legal name though going by his middle name and his wife never thinking twice about it. I'm not sure this is where they are going but it seems believable to me.

These are my predictions for the Second Season, though I don´t really believe they will go that way
I hope the pttb don´t think this should be posted on the Writers Room)
Rebecca finds a way in episode 1 to blackmail Christopher and make believe everyone that they have made up and not only for the babies. But Chris and Elena are still seeing each other, and she gives him an ultimatum: leave her or I´ll walk out! The company is being put together with Bobby as vigilant force, who calls Gary for help, since JR is back to Vegas, where he wants to play that delayed poker game with Cliff Barnes. Rebecca is told by her doctor that one of the twins is not Chris´s and she bribes her to shut her mouth up. Sue Ellen is winning in her campaign for Governor but Harris strikes back with another dirty trick, this time about the daughter Ann had with him: Emma. She was kidnapped as a child while Ann was watching her at a park and she never could forgive herself. But actually this was a scheme of Harris´s to get a better agreement in the divorce proceeding. Harris tells Sue Ellen that the girl is grown-up and well, and he will let Ann meet her only if SE agrees to do whatever he says and changes some of her campaign promises.
Meanwhile, Carmen gets the visit of her other son Andrés, aka Drew (as we already know, he became a drug-addict after witnessing his daddy´s death in an oil rig, left to battle in Bosnia - or was it the Gulf? - and now comes back after smelling that Ewings´money). Elena tells him to stay away for everybody´s sake because she knows he´s rather unstable, and he threatens her with telling her mother that she had a part of responsibility in their dad´s death. She slaps him and Ann watches it. Bobby is healthy again and determined to let things happen and concentrate on just giving the boys some guidance for the business. Of course, JR is also present at Ewing Energies, though he still pretends to be a bit out: in fact, he has hired his former secretary Sly as Bobby´s executive assistant and she will keep him reported. Of which of course Bobby has no doubts about it...Triple crosses are on their way...
Sue Ellen is angry at Elena for hurting her son and wants her loan back, although the Henderson drilling went through all kind of trouble, partly caused by John Ross, who longs for a revenge. Rebecca tries to get closer to John Ross and offers him a big deal, out of Ewing Energies: supported by her daddy´s money (whose relation nobody knows yet), she is planning to drill offshore crude at the Gulf. Their names will have to be fake and also the companies´ names. But that is no problem for none of them. Bum is told to follow John Ross´s steps and takes pics of the meeting, but JR thinks it´s just a sex encounter. Lucy returns from Italy and wants to join the boys at EE, with Bobby´s complicity. Even if that only means that she might find out something dirty about them once in awhile. Also, Lucy calls her mum Valene and asks her to convince Gary to join the new family company.
Chris meets Tommy´s sister Rebecca in Des Moines and finds out a few things about him, including the name of the college roommate who used to hang out with Tommy and put him in the trail of Chris. He learnts that Afton used to sing there by then and Rebecca met Cliff at that time too, by the first time as an adult. She read about Cliff in the newspaper and found some pics of her mum with him taken before she was born. Cliff reminds it to Rebecca too and also how he let her live with him to make up for lost time. But Cliff had his well-known devious plot in mind already and assigned Frank to teach her a few useful things (like how to pretend to be another person and marry her own (adoptive) cousin). Chris finally tracks Afton down and, one day, she calls Rebecca...to see each other.
John Ross has been working on the way to prove that Chris´s methane extraction caused a tsunami in China. Elena fears that he may send him to jail and calls a detective to find something against John Ross, although she isn´t sure of the whole thing and backs up. But when she finds in one box a dvd with Marta and him in bed, she swears she will make him pay for it. Then she calls her brother and asks him to follow John Ross whenever he goes. But one night, he is offered drug and Drew takes it, ending up in a hospital. Elena feels terrible then (poor baby)...Bobby follows JR to Vegas and, when he sees his brother, JR tolds him that he has just ruined Cliff Barnes, and this time for good!! Or hasn´t he?

Will Sue Ellen be the governor of Texas?
This could go either way. If she does become Governor, I don't think she will last too long at it, she will resign or get thrown out during some point.
Will John Ross, Elena and Christopher still have and share Ewing Energies?
Yes, I do think they will, and I believe this will be the major focus of the season- good or bad, it's coming.
Will Christopher and Rebecca be divorced? Will their twins be boys, girls or one of each?
I thought Christopher looked into an annulment as soon as he found out about her- rich people can get those easy so not sure why he didn't already do that. But I think they will be divorced, and to be different from Bobby and Betsy, I think both will be boys.
Will Elena and Christopher be married?
No, I do not think they will. Audience reaction to them has not been great, and in a precarious second season, I don't think they have cojones to do exactly what they know the audience is not crazy about watching. If they absolutely see some spark there, they might buck the trend and keep them together, but it will be risky for them to do that.
Will J.R. be in a nursing home or living at Southfork? Will he have a new woman in his life?
I think he will live at Southfork- so many reviewers have stated they miss that aspect, so they would be fools not to go back to it. I am not sure about a "new" woman, but I think he will try to go after Sue Ellen again to try to patch things up. If, against all odds, Abby Cunningham is able to cross over, I think that will be how she is introduced into the show, that they've renewed their interest in each other. But again, it doesn't look like that will happen, but that would be how I would see Abby entering the picture- through JR.
Will Harris Ryland be wreaking his revenge on Ann and her family?
I think he will- it seems they are trying to make him a top villain in the case Hagman can no longer work on the show, they will still have an evil presence. Harris, to me, lacks humor, so that makes me think he is not going to be as effective as they might think he is going to be. I'm also incredibly unimpressed with what seems like the emerging season plotline from him, that Ann had a daughter kidnapped and he has been raising her all this time and hasn't alllowed her to see her. This mixes together two very famous and popular plotlines from Dynasty- Adam being kidnapped, and Amanda being kept from one of her parents all through her childhood- there is a big danger this could fall very flat during the season, it's just not very original and there is not a "wow" factor about it. In fact, it's so unoriginal it has been on Dallas before, with very weak results. Vanessa hid the fact that JR had a child from her and she had raised him into adulthood without JR knowing- and none of it was done very well. In fact, one might easily say the whole plotline was a disaster. It just didn't work- but Sasha had a pretty face so at the very least, there was some worth in that. Also, Cally took her baby away and planned on JR never seeing her- Afton also did the same thing- so lots of these kind of plots have already been done. For me, for the show to succeed on a big level, something creative that has never been seen on previous soaps of the Dallas era has to happen. Something orginal has to take place. As I have mentioned before elsewhere, Dynasty took a big gamble in it's 2nd season, they had Alexis being directly responsible for the death of Krystle's unborn baby. It wasn' the type of thing you saw on other shows. They also in the 3rd season came up with a brilliant plot of Adam painting Jeff's office to make him so disoriented, he would sign his voting rights with Colbyco and his son's share in Denver Carrington over to Alexis. Now that was creative, it was risky to do that, something like that had never been seen before, it make it unique and it helped make it a big hit. The Dallas show is going to have to take some big risky chances as well - either that or just fade away into mediocrity.

I have my reasons to believe Season 2 will be an issue: no anchor relationship (other then Bobby and Ann which doesn't seem to matter to people) and the bad guy (with Vicente gone and Ryland on the edges) looks like it will be John Ross - if that was the case he should have been bad from the start, now people will not love to hate him but hate to feel bad for him. Still I think it will get more then 3. I am curious why you say 3.

What's Cliff's nasty glitch? He must be one pissed off mother to using his own daughter for revenge....
More JR
Gary, Val, Lucy and Abby need to make appearances, since the mineral rights thing is going to make the Ewings even more money.
Not sure what a storyline with SE as Governor could go, she'd be gone too much for it to be important...
More shirtless scenes with Josh Henderson and Jesse Metcalfe.

I agree with those generalities that are needed to keep the show interesting. If there was one problem with th new show, it was that everyone was involved in the twists, turns, deceit, and backstabbing, even the maid (smart comments, attitude, and returning the ring to John Ross for her daughter). There has to be good and bad, not just all bad.

Thank you - that is what I have been saying. And when it comes to bad - really bad - the bad we love to hate - they have to be bad from the start - we can't feel bad for them and love to hate them. This is a serial, not a book or a one time movie - to keep people coming back there has to be some good and their has to be a really bad bad - like JR - and not make us feel bad for - make us love to hate his guts.

I predict that JR will dig out the number of that decorator that used to perk Southfork up for Miss Ellie sometimes in the original run. I predict that he will be furious at what Miss Ann has done with the place and order that the place be returned to its original layout and the heavily wallpaperd. He will also smatter the house with plants and occasional tables will be filled with elaborate floral displays. He will reinstate the telephone in the main hallway and all will have to use that one.

I have 2 predictions for season 2 and i hope i'm wrong with them both. 1) Elana will be pregnant.....whose the daddy? 2) Dispite Ken Kercheval predicting him having a big role in season due to the revelation i predict he will only make small appearences like in season 1. A lot of the storyline can be carried by Rebecca and Cliffs Muppet assisant. Hope i,m wrong i would love to see more of Ken Kercheval.
