The actor Morgan Woodward is still alive and in his 80s. Hey, maybe he could come back to the show.
Yes, JR. The answer is yes. You were the love of my life!

Yes, Morgan is still alive and will be 87 in September, 16th! He has not been seen on TV since 1997, but that would be nice to see him around again!

He kind of disappeared from Dallas in the last few seasons. He wasn't at the Oil Baron's anymore, and I don't recall there being any mention of where he got off to. I don't think there was ever any mention of the character's death. So he must still be around out there somewhere.

Yep, and I hope the producers will give him a call to get him back around Bobby, JR and the newbies! It would also be
good to see the Cartel members... of course, as they killed of Jordan Lee played by Don Starr. Anyway, he died at age
77 in July 1995! It's be nice to see Marilee back and try to get involved with Ewing Energies!

They really could use Punk right about now. He was always a good one to go to for advice and a good friend of the family.

Well, I don't think so... it doesn't ring a bell at all... but I guess that will give me another good reason among
many others (not that I need any) to rewatch the whole series all over again (what a pleasure anyway...), then
this season again... before next year! That would be nice to have Punk next season!... I guess it's too late for
    this one!

Punk or Mavis never died on the show.

One aspect of the show that is missing and I would like to see addressed in season two is the business side of the family relative to the city of Dallas. There hasn't been one scene like the Oil Baron's or Cattleman's Clubs where the family socially interacts with the power brokers of the industry in Dallas.

corrct..Punk never died on the show.. Woodward and Hirson were part of the later season budget cuts..the last time Punk was mentioned was in season 12..Ray 'saw" punk across the room and said he was going to say Hello. if Punk were still alive in the new series he'd be close to 100. he was Jock's age..even though Woodward is 87.

Exactly! We need to see them and not only on the Oil Baron's Ball that we need to get in the new show too, BTW!

You know what? I've been thinking of her lately and wondered if, by any chance, we could see
her again... doubtful, huh!?... But why not? That would be nice!

If they did Punk brought back, I hope it would be more than just a brief cameo.

I see a scene where J.R. takes John Ross to meet a man even J.R. calls a legend in the oil business.. he leads John Ross into a dark study where an old man in a wheel chair sits behind the desk you see the scene first through the old mans eyes.. then the camera pulls back revealing a head of white hair..he turns on his desk light.. the camera spins to reveal the man's worn face as he says 'J.R. Ewing...its been a long time!" J.r. smiles and say to John Ross, 'son, i dont know how well you remember him but, , I'd like you to meet your granddaddy's best freind ..mr. Marvin anderson" to which the old man replies 'call me punk"!
