I want it on DVD; I hate online viewing.
Take a look at my Albums for some great Dallas and Dynasty merchandise pictures!!
On line videos are convenient but there is just something about having the DVD.
Since the remastering process is taking longer than expected the instant video is the best compromise, for now.
Angela pulls up, at the Tuscany County Jail. She meets Sheriff Robbins, (a scene from season 3, 1983 – ‘84):
Angela: “Sheriff I want a word with you!”
Sheriff Robbins: “Well what can I help you with, Mrs. Channing?”
Angela: “I don’t like the way my daughter is being treated, in your jail.”
Sheriff Robbins: “Julia is being treated just like everyone else.”
Angela: “Are they all denied bail? I was under the impression that a person is innocent until proven guilty.”
Sheriff Robbins: “The court denied your daughter bail, Mrs. Channing. I’m simply enforcing the judge’s order.”
Angela: “Sheriff Julia needs help. Now she’s not acting rationally.”
Sheriff Robbins: “She’s going through a period of adjustment.”
Angela: “What is she supposed to adjust to? The riff raff, in your jail?”
Sheriff Robbins: “No to the system. Now maybe you’re right, maybe she doesn’t belong in here but what if she’s convicted? Do you really think that life in the county jail is easier than the state prison?”
Angela: “But it can’t be any worse than what I have seen.”
Sheriff Robbins: “This is a church pick nick, compared to the state penitentiary.”
Angela: “What you’re saying is that you are unwilling to take any action. Well I will have to remember that when election time comes around.”
Sheriff Robbins: “Mrs. Channing I don’t like idle threats.”
Angela: “And I don’t make them!”
For everyone who wants to watch it right now, the instant videos are fine.
But the Warner Archive Collection promised us the most elaborate remastering you can imagine for the DVDs. We think it is worth waiting and buying although this means a big delay.
But for those of you who saw the very few remastered scenes in a couple of season 1 episodes in the European PAL box sets, particularly in episode 4 <1.04> (not in the American box set though!), you know what I am talking about. The quality is comparable to high definition and so crystal clear... you can even see every knit stitch in Lorenzo's pullover in the scene with Abby in the enologist's lab at the winery, for instance, and every single grape on the vines during the final harvesting scene -- the picture quality in those segments is so razor sharp that you think your ability to see is like 250 per cent.
Every stitch in the jumper, every grape on the vine, every hole in the plot ...
"Anyone who reacts critically to a show in a written-down form, whether it's professionally or in a blog, is responding to the programme in a perfectly valid way, but in an utterly atypical way. That's just not how people watch television." - Steven Moffat
Can't wait for remastered season 3. Julia hoots this year & her best season.
You guys probably know this, but just in case you don't... Season 2 is available on iTunes for $24.99. This price is way better than the Warner Archive one. You ain't getting a disc and a case, but still.

Templarius other than bits and pieces from YouTube that’s all I’m aware of as regards FC internet viewing. The most recent T.V. screenings were Sweden’s Channel 9 and CBS Drama, on this side of the water.
Terri calls around to the Gioberti castle mansion, to see her sister Maggie and Chase. When she is about to leave the great house Maggie says, “Terri it was nice to see you!” Terri replies, “Nice to be seen!” (a scene from season 3, 1983 –‘84).

That's a shame. So many viewers around the world and we can't get all the episodes online...
