Who Crashed Through the Window at Southfork?

Forgive me if this has already been dealt with elsewhere on the forum, but I was wondering about something that happened in the 1st or 2nd episode. Did we ever find out for sure who it was that went crashing through the front window at Southfork with Ann (and her shotgun) in hot pursuit? I've been assuming it was Tommy, or someone connected to him; that seems to make the most sense. Also, this seems like a plot point that was just completely dropped. I know if someone had broken into my house, I'd want to find out who and why. But none of the current Ewings seem to have given it a second thought -- unless I missed it somewhere along the way.

Unless I missed it somewhere along the way too. I always just assumed it was Tommy, but as far as I know it was never revealed.

I don't think it was revealed, but I think it was Bobby's stuff he was stealing so I don't know, they probably cut the explanation for time, as they did some of Sue Ellen's scenes- unless they plan on revealing something at the cliffhanger, I guess it's just unexplained.

I don't think so. If I'm remembering correctly, John Ross got that information from an insider at Christopher's office in Dallas. Some guy at Christopher's company let some other guy in and that guy copied the files about the earthquakes and the whole methane extraction program and passed that along to John Ross's people.

That could have been what happened, too. I've DVRd all of the episodes, but I'm on a business trip and away from home until next Friday; so I can't re-watch them and double check my ideas until then.

Hopefully I'll be able to catch the first or second screening of the finale in the hotel on Wednesday night!!!!!

I believed it to be Tommy because there was a color on a knit hat or something that I saw on the person who broke in, and then saw Tommy wearing when he arrived at the wedding. That, and his story that he was sorry he was delayed and could only arrive that afternoon, that made it seem like he was trying to establish an alibi for the night before.
