Default The best thing about the new Dallas...

Is seeing octogenarian Larry Hagman as JR Ewing twenty plus years after the series ended picking up the character seemingly effortlessly and every bit as good and memorable. He owns every scene he is in! The added bonus is that the series has the flavor of the original and is not some 'reboot' (I hate that word) that has the name but is really some pale exploitation piece of crap. Nicely done TNT!

Agreed! Long live JR and Larry Hagman! Great having Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy back too. I'd also like to add another good thing about the new Dallas IMO: John Henderson. I think he's fabulous as John Ross. Great casting choice. I think he's got the potential to take that show into many more future seasons if his talents are utilized.
Yes, JR. The answer is yes. You were the love of my life!

Theres lots to love, Nothing to Hate and little to dislike about the new series IMO......The best thing is Josh Henderson, really do think he stands out a mile and think he has made the John Ross character even better than the scripts have.

Great things about the new Dallas...first of all, it's on! Second of all, without the the amigos -- JR, Bobby and Sue Ellen -- the series wouldn't make it. You need some continuity in order for a series like this to succeed. I also totally agree about John Ross -- he's adorable and fits the part perfectly. If I was 30 years younger.....
