Newbie wins HoH after coaches enter game (SPOILER)

I'm so excited that the coaches are now back in the game, especially since it looked like Frank was out the door and I like him.

The HoH competition lasted three hours and ten minutes, and Danielle won!

Boogie quit after an hour, then Jenn, Joe, Ashley, Dan, Frank, Wil, Shane (who apparently "grunted like he was giving birth while trying to hold on"), and then Janelle. Ian jumped after making a deal with Britney and Danielle. Then Britney made a deal with Danielle and jumped.

This should make it much more interesting than if a coach had won. And so far Danielle seems to be gunning for Janelle!

Interesting tidbit: While showing the houseguests her HoH room, Danielle talked about a show that she's supposed to be in or on that starts in October for NBC. She said, "I don't know if I can talk about it because I'm under contract. It's an Eva Longeria thing." Eva Longoria isn't starring in any upcoming TV shows, but she is producing a show on NBC called Ready for Love, a dating show. So Danielle must be a contestant.

I like Frank too, but this twist effectively negated everything that happened over the past week. It's bullshit. Allison Grodner obviously enjoys shitting all over the game by constantly interfering in it instead of letting it play out on its own. If it weren't for her constant twists, many of the winners from past seasons would be completely different. Season 8, for example, was obviously rigged for Dick and Daniele to make it to the final two. Grodner's actions are transparent as glass.

The other thing that gets me is that Boogie and Janelle are playing this game for the third time now. I do respect Boogie for declining the offer. He's won the show once and has a successful business, so he obviously doesn't need the money. I think it's rediculous that we have to endure yet another season with vets competing against newbies. Having vets come back to mentor the houseguests on playing the game was an interesting angle, but having them compete against the newbies is crap.

Yes I truly was upset when they put that option in there..

I was very curious as to how it was going to play out with the coaches..

It just sucks..

I will still watch... And I do agree that all the past winners would have been different..

Last year they wanted Rachel to win... And Rachel won.. THey had that pandora's box angle with the couples which I loved.. But still it was transparant.. And took away a persons LEGITE victory..

Yep. It happens time and time again. I prefer the more pared down BB of the past to all of the twists used today.
