Right we have Neighbours and Emmie now one for Easties.

Good episode tonight. I thought that underpass looked familiar. It is the Brent Cross one and I was there on July 1st the day before my birthday. So they must have filmed a few weeks before. I was up that way after I visited the late Jack Rosenthal's grave in Golders Green. Went to the shopping centre there.

Although one gripe is surely there would not be that many tramps in the underpass. There was about 30 of them. I walked down that underpass and saw not one. Ian looked authentic enough as a tramp.

yeap it was a good ep. adam woodyatt was very good. nice to see a more caring side to the residents of albert square, which is often missing.

Cannot wait for Sharon to return, an original character who appeared in the first episode in 1985. I am getting withdrawal symptoms as it was not on Friday and want to see how Ian is getting on now he is back. At least we have seen a bit less of Michael Moon and Fatboy.

yeap ee have had a cracking week. sharons return week looks good, along with the ben/heather reveal, will be interesting.

can ee keep up the good work? not sure, probably not, but lets enjoy it while it lasts.

Easties is getting back to being good again. Loved the ref to Arthur Fowler and the acting was quite good from Adam Woodyat. Also like when Denise referred to Castaway starring Tom Hanks.

Although Phil does not have Ian's best interests at heart by taking him in. He wants to keep an eye on him as he knows about Heather and when he gets better he can butter Ian up.

Another fantastic episode from Easties tonight. It has improved over the last few weeks I think.

Roll on the 30th in February 2015 as it will sure be marked as big as the Corrie 50th.

i think ee works better 3 times a week, mon, tue and thur. if only itv would do the same with corrie mon, wed, fri. emmerdale could be on mon through to fri reducing their eps to 5. i know it wont happen.

Can't wait for next week - looks amazing. EE has defo been getting better (although there have been some amazing highlights all year like the Hev murder week which were some of the best episodes ever!)

EastEnders was good again tonight. Liked the emotion Jay showed. 2012 will go down in EastEnders history as a good year.

Felt really sorry for Jay tonight, the way everybody thought he was accessory to Hev's murder, and treating him like a pariah, until the touching tete a tete between him and an initially-outraged Patrick changed things a bit........ and then all the bottled up grief from the past resurfaced for him again because of that traumatic event losing his dad in such a horrific way caught up with him and he threw that into wimpy dozy screwed up faced loser Billy Mitchell's face.

Phil Mitchell is now a grandad. Looks like Lexi is Ben's daughter.

Good episode tonight and quite moving. The show is often slammed for its chav characters but you will find them in the real East End so nothing unusual.

Who on earth wrote the "place of safety" episode????? What a load of Tosh!! A place of safety is only required for a child in danger!! A couple of missed appointments and a snotty social worker does not equate to a child in danger. Removal would be the very LAST resort - drunken parent, abusive parent - child neglect etc. Come on writers - get a grip.
