The episodes on the box set are the same as the individual releases. No extended episodes with those all important missing scenes. But the episodes are now on 105 single discs. You don't get these Ken Kercheval pics in the set though. They are part of a web competition we're running!

Oh that's a shame. Unless the price drops dramatically, I may wait a couple of years and see if WB repackage it with extended episodes like they did with Friends. My guess is they'll try to get fans to pay out a third and fourth time in the not too distant future...

Totally agree about that! But with the kind-of-success of the new show I'm starting to wonder if they would release the original series on BluRay. Judging by the DVD-releases I doubt though that Warner has the commitment that is needed for a good BluRay-release...

Has anyone tried to watch seasons 9-14? I'm still wondering if they look any better. The original release are such horrible quality.

I got in touch with TVShowsonDVD when this set was first announced and they told me that there are no plans for such a set to be released in the US at least for now...

I still can't believe that this box set was released with us first. Having said that, it was well worth the wait to get the single-sided DVDs and the presentation is very good.

saw it in HMV for £120 at weekend

Ive already bought the whole set and mini - 6, 8-10 original twice

have never taken final season out of the cellophane

Might take Mel O Drama's advice and wait, boxed sets usually drop given a few months

Got Prime Suspect for £25 after being £100 to start with

OR I enter both competitons

We don't have Zaavi over here, there was one briefly in Belfast but didn't last long. I sold my original copies in a local exchange shop and only had to put £10 towards the purchase of the full set in HMV last week!

i dont want to sell my originals tho, the spare second set are still in their wrappers "for good" but s1, 2, 4, -6 and dream original - the cases are a bit battered and worn from being watched many many times
They are like old friends
