That's sooo strange. I know, I don't wanna hear my radio stuff as well when s.o. recorded it, but that is really somethin' else, this is a show that made TV history! How could he possibly be not interested... because he was in it? S.o. should buy him the DVDs...
Oh man, if I'd been part of this...
But back to topic... I'd love Rebecca to be his daughter! And I'd like to see him and Audrey beeing her parents too in S2. That would give Rebecca a real backbone and a wonderful closure to the Cliff/Afton-storyline.
I for one would love to hear Audrey performing a medley of her beloved songs in S2, and I'd be just too curious how they would web that in into new Dallas S2.
Afton/Audrey just belongs to the show, she's been part of it's best years, no doubt.
Her character development was fun to watch, and when it finally came to Cliff, she's been always a regular to me, although she never made it to the main credits, which I thought was unfair. She should have been in the opening credits at least in the season where Bobby gets shot at the end!! She deserved a main credit, as much as she's done for the show..
At least give it to her now... I'd like to see her in the opening stage for S2, along with Larry, Patrick, Linda and Ken!! She deserves it!
I remember reading about KK - he was quite the ladies' man and children by different women during the years of the original Dallas. He lived his life rather than watch tv, LOL.

I loved Afton. She annoyed me at first the way she used to pant after JR, but I used to love the way she'd tell Mitch off about his "stupid male pride." She knew how to handle Cliff too. She is probably the only woman on the planet who could put up with him. He abused her to no end, but she was so blinded by her love for him. I admired the way she had an intuition about other people; she could read JR and Clayton like a book and she sniffed out that little love triangle they had with Sue Ellen even if they refused to admit it. I'd love it if she came back on the show.
Yes, JR. The answer is yes. You were the love of my life!

    Interesting..
Just wonder, which side I'd choose, if I had the choice...
Guess I'd choose the fan side again, rather than not to care about the show..
I think he still is not aware of the legacy he and his collegues left there to so many people...
I'm not sure, but I could imagine, Dallas will be even discussed and watched 50 or a 100 years by fans from now, when even his children are already dead...
He's not fully aware of what he's really been part of I guess...
"Dallas" will always be the first PT-soap-opera to refer to. I'd really like to know if in a 200 years from now some crazy fans will still watch every episode and talk about it in some kind of forum like this one... that is, what I'd really like to know...

That's not exclusive to Dallas. Every show I watch someone says its a jawdropping, best ever finale. I hate hype, it rarely delivers.

As many women as JR had over the years it could be possible. Maybe we dont even know her mom? Or how about her mom is Holly Hardwood, Sly (she and JR did have a bed room scene towards the end of the series) JR's secretary before Kristine (I think her name was LuElla?) , one of his hookers, Marilee Stone, etc, etc.

Just to throw out some random thoughts
