I think Barbara Southworth is supposed to be Miss Ellie's mother. They named her Barbara as an ode to BBG.

Finally a plot line for Christopher where they have him confident and in charge. Jesse's great when they give him the right lines.

Tonight's episode is so fast.

I thought that was a needlessly mysterious scene with J.R. appearing to see John Ross - they lost a minute with that.

For once he isn't whining and scowling. He did do rather well in this scene.

Funny this posting between the show´s acts (my first time here).

Chris is looking dumber and dumber. How can he believe that his trick hat with bag and all can convince Vicente? Chris makes the first Bobby look like Einstein!

Sue Ellen has the license to steal in this episode! Gotta love her bribe scene with Doc. And the Jacko mention made me

big time!! This and Chavez´s brought Dallas to reality world, which btw has never been a good thing.

I hoped that JR would shed a tear at least...Or did he?

I loved tonights episode, it was one of my favourites. I love the scene with John Ross, and Christopher at home. It was sweet not sure how long it will last. Bobby was amazing tonight too.
I feel bad for Sue Ellen don't know what will come of her deal, sad Marta's killers will get off now. Will she come clean or keep it a secret?
I knew Rebecca and Tommy were not brother, and sister that kiss scene was shocking.

You're correct, and this I believe goes back to the 1985 Early Years movie. Nice nod to the past.

First episode that I'm willing to call "quality". Lots of good scenes. Now that Sue Ellen has trapped herself in a bribe, bring on more of her!

As many, myself included, suspected back in Ep.2, and confirmed when she gave back her rings, Tommy and Rebecca are not brother/sister. As J.R. would say, "Well Christopher, it looks like you're married to a bigamist."

Tommy said something a couple of eps ago that tipped it off. He said to Rebecca: "Lucky for me, you got over Christopher fast."

Wow what an ending! I loved this eppi!

I also was sure that "Sis" was said with sarcasm! Will Rebecca shoot Tommy in the cliffhanger? I keep thinking that their storyline is very knotsian!!

I found the preview a little disappointing. I guess they don´t wanna give too much away, if anything.

Sue Ellen is having regrets already, the killer is at large (waiting for the cliffhanger?) and the letter...what the hell was it? I didn´t quite understand what Chris told Rebecca...

The family is gathering finally. Good. But I guess that Harris has more chances to become next year´s villain than Vicente del Peli-Cano!! (Is Bernard allergic to shaving like in 24?)

Gotta love that little black-and-white horse on the Southfork small table. I vote him for candidate of successor of the porcelain dog!!

Nice shot of John Ross kissing Elena at Southfork!! Made me think of Hitchcock´s Vertigo!

I hope that Sue Ellen´s fur coat is synthetic otherwise her election will be doomed! But it was great to see her with shoulderpads again!!

All in all, a good episode, but the methane thing still is a very lame plot device...

Great episode! Again this one was well-written, so whoever is in charge of the scripts at this point is genius. The twists were great and again it felt like the classic show. Sue Ellen was great, JR was great, Bobby was wonderful, and the emotion at the end was very real and very heartwarming. The grave scene was very good, and it was pretty good all around with continuity. Once again I enjoyed some nods to the past-Christopher's line about snakes was pretty similar to Cliff's classic one about vipers. Next week's looks pretty good too of course.
