From things they've said I think, such as what Rebecca said about what his "real parents did to him", I think Chris knows all the info on Kristen and Jeff. What they did to him sounds like Jeff selling him, just giving him up for adoption wouldn't have that sitng.
For what it's worth, what did Kristen do to Christoper. She didn't sell him or abandon him. She just took drugs and died.
I always thought it seemed out of character for Kristen to develop a drug problem, she seemed too in control for that. I do think that JR probably pushed her off the balcony while arguing with her, but he probably meant just to push her away from him when she got in his face and she went over the balcony unintentionally.
Chris having regular secret contact with Pam would be an amazing shocking twist. I had never thought of that.

Marta Marta Marta.........how ironic that her death felt like Julie Grey's but her sequence with John Ross felt very Knots (Season 10) Gary's brief conversation and threat to Jill to stay away from Val and their children where Jill grabbed Gary neck and scratched him as well.

JR knowing Sue Ellen would do what she can protect John Ross, Sue Ellen's undertone to Elena about choosing the right side, Elena quick fast decision (based more on Chris having Rebecca's child) to help John Ross ..............THEN BANG... her getting the revelation of Marta being dead and John Ross being involved with her all the time was all brilliant.

Lucy slight but effective use in this episode gave depth to her character as well as the Ewing family and their dynamic. its obvious despite her hatred toward JR and Cynicism toward Sue Ellen (Past and possibly present) Lucy actually cares about John Ross and its obvious they are close. I'm sure John Ross that Lucy would have been the only one who if at all could have possibly convince Gary and to have her back fired on him was brilliant..........John Ross was genuinely hurt...and Lucy seemed slightly remorse. Lucy obviously doesn't approve of John Ross ways but must feel sorry for him because he cant help the way he is based on his parentage.

More Lucy and John Ross scenes.............its nice to know some one other than JR and Sue Ellen has some love and sympathy for John Ross..........it only adds more tension to the Ewing family.

Ok the only reason why Bobby and Ann have to go with Chris to support his possibly having children by Rebecca is so the writers could throw another wrinkle in the Ann's has long lost children with her sobbing over the fact that Chris and Becky are having twins.............. did she have twins???? I just hope Cidre doesn't screw things up by making Chris and Tommy long lost separated twins of Ann's...............I guess Lisa Alden may reappear. Chris needs to stay Kristin son...........speaking of which does he really know Sue Ellen is his natural aunt and John Ross his natural cousin??

I still think killing Elena off is the best thing this season. Until to day she was boring and killing her now will only fuel the battle between John Ross and Christopher with John Ross and Christopher each blaming themselves for their involvement of her death. John Ross will feel isolated figuring the only one he really had that he could count on was Elena.

I have the feeling with Jr know where to be found ( to most people's knowledge) Sue Ellen will resort to borrowing money from Harris to bail John Ross out of jail...............which will only lead to trouble.

Why do I get the feeling that Cliff knows exactly where Pam is and is keeping quiet but close contact ???
Gary was a Ewing and this family does not seem to learn from its past. I also thought Elena helped John Ross more because he needed it and he is her friend and he did get her the leases and Sue Ellen is her only backer. I agree about Lucy but would have liked to see her tell Bobby to help John Ross and not fight him kind of thing - as it was she looked like a tattletale. And I agree - some one needs to be on this boys side. I think there is more too Bobby and Anne with Chris - they are doing the right thing. They haven't said stay with the girl but he has to 1) be a father and 2) before he gives up on his marriage he should figure out what really happened. That is good parenting. I think killing her might bring the boys closer actually - John Ross would be heart broken and Chris (thought I don't think he is really in love with her after the way he has acted about her) would be the closets person he'd have to understanding his pain - that being I don't see what could possibly cause her death that they would be to blame for unless something came up. If either boy did anything that remotely linked blame to them for her death - I think that boy would blame himself. Sue Ellen seems loaded to me - no need to borrow money. Bail wouldn't be set that high for a woman who just gave Elena $75,000 without even batting an eye - money is not an issue. I think you are thinking about Pam because a lot of people are - they don't won't to let go of the old show. But this isn't about that - it is about a new generation moving forward and I'm enjoying it.

I do like that idea - but then why didn't get get the money he needed from her. With Wentworth money and Cliff being worth billions wouldn't Pam be worth at least several hundred million?

Well, actually, Kristen was extorting money from both JR and Jordan Lee, claiming that they were Chris' father. She was basically using the kid to make money off of two rich men, knowing that Jeff was Chris' father all along. That is not a good thing for the kid.

I wouldn't be so sure if Chris knew that detail or not. Either way, it's kind of academic imo. It happened 30 years ago and she's been dead nearly that long.
I thought it was weird anyways for Rebecca to make a big deal about Jeff and Kristen abandoning Chris, when it's Pam's abandoning him that would be the more releavent topic. Seeing as how she's the mother that was raising him so he's actually missed her.

Ann has a good relationship with everybody on the show. She's such a nice person and willing to give everybody a chance.
I think this is all there's to it.
She felt sorry for Rebecca and this is why she was willing to see her.

I have taken this for granted. Bobby is an honest man who would want his son to know where he comes from. There is no way they didn't tell him.

You guys have weird ideas. I hope the producers of the show aren't listening to you.

I agree, I don't think he was told about Kristen, I think they just know his parents tried to "sell him"- he probably thinks his mother was included with what Faraday did, after that, why tell John Ross the truth, he would have to swim everyday in the same pool his mother drowned in, that would be too creepy for a child.

Of course he will know the identity of his birth mother and it stretches credulity to think that he wouldn't have been informed about the circumstances of her death. The point about the pool, though, is an interesting one.

It also mystifies me why Christopher isn't more antagonistic towards JR since his uncle's guilt (or otherwise) surrounding the death of Kristin is still largely unclear...

Okay just watched this episode tonight...before episode 8. Ummm....a couple of things:

    * Rebecca throwing up at Elena's house...in a white coat..and she doesn't get one drop of puke on it...IMPOSSIBLE!
    * This situation just got twice as bad for Christopher… She's having twins!
    * Can Christpher get any more selfish in this episode… if he cries one more time Im going to put on something white and puke.
    * Marta gets thrown out of the window… Where have I seen this before…

    * The same two cops arrested Bobby and John Ross… Are there only two cops in Parker, Texas or Braddock, Texas or whatever we are calling it now.
    * By the way I really miss Fenton… That sexy bastard!
    * Bobby gets a mysterious envelope full of information about anne from her ex-husband, confronts her, and then decides to burned it! Now, if that was JR, he would've done the same thing… But… He would've made copies of what's in the envelope and put it in a red file and put it in the safe in the Ewing Oil office!

BTW Chris, can you tell us more about your scene? What is it like to be in scene like this one? Did it take long to shoot and did the actress of Marta/Veronica have to lie there for a long time. It doesn't really look like a comfortable position.

I agree and I am happy that you also like the younger characters, Karin.
I feel many people here are stuck in the past. They only enjoy the scenes with Larry, Sue Ellen and Bobby and don't even try to like the younger characters. They don't give the show a chance. They probably also belong to these people who think that ever since Dallas went off the air in 1991 there haven't been any good TV shows out there. But they are so wrong, I've seen brilliant TV, shows that are better than Dallas & Knots Landing combined! But no, they are stuck in the past and will be forever. It's quite sad really.

I caught myself thinking about John Ross a lot this morning. I am so glad they cast Josh Henderson, he's brilliant. I like Jesse too, he often overacts but then it kind of fits the character.
What's most important is that when I see John Ross I am like "Yeah, this is John Ross" and when I see Christopher I think "Yeah, this is Christopher". Do you know what I mean? I can see the children they once were in them. They are both perfect.

I'm watching Episide 7, now - they all look so cold, LOL! Jesse and Brenda both have Rudolph faces in their outdoor scenes, haha!
