Our dearest Jerrold Immel...
... at last in the credits from episode 5!
Have you noticed? Why did they wait until episode 5?
I am so happy... maybe he will be back for season 2!
I think the scores of Rob Cairns are disappointed...
What do you think? Please, get our wonderful Lance
Rubin back!

He should have always been credited for the theme

Yes, Jerrold Immel, Lance Rubin, Bruce Broughton, Richard Lewis Warren ... wish they were composing the music scores for new Dallas, or at least they used some of their background music from old Dallas on new Dallas.

I am really disappointed that they didn't ask Immell to return. No one should be allowed to compose a new arrangement of the Dallas theme unless it's Jerrold Immell, mind you the new arrangement isn't bad but an arrangement from Immell would be a million times better.

How so? The theme is so close to Immel's version that I find it hard to imagine how any theme could be a million times better or worse. Regardless of whether Immel dealt with a new arrangement it would still have to be a shortened version of the original. The only think noticeably different from the original, except from the length, is the drum beat which is now rock instead of disco.

Just a question: why is Jerrold Immel not credited in the ending titles?

Currently the incidental music is dire. it sounds like a really uninspired and insipid loop from GarageBand. I sincerely hope this is addressed in time for Season 2.

I totally agree, my Dearest Friend. You're absolutely right!
Please, get our wonderful composers back for season 2!
It would be a dream come true to get Lance Rubin!
But I would also love Eddie Arkin: he did a fantastic job on Melrose Place.
What are your thoughts, my Dearest Friends?
Please, let's fight and have Rob Cairns replaced!

Well, I still don't get why they haven't credited Jerrold Immel to begin with instead of Rob Cairns... They're using the same theme,
just rearranged... Jerrold is the only one to be credited as composer. Besides, after they finally credited him, they took his name away
on the last episodes... so, my question is simple? Why?
