I get it! Amazing Cliffhanger!
My dearest Friends,
after reading our beloved Linda Gray interview and watching the already released episodes again and again, I think I know what everybody means about an amazing cliffhanger of our so cherished show:
Marta del Sol is Angelica Nero's daughter and she is in Dallas to get a revenge, the deadliest revenge of all... I cannot think about anything else after reading the comments of Patrick, Ken, Linda and JR about the so waited cliffhanger.
Angelica Nero was a very powerful character and though she appeared in Pam's dream, that does not mean she was not a "real" character, someone Pam had known before marrying Bobby, someone who has a big secret about the Ewings and Southfork...
I am so excited, my dearest Friends. What do you think?

Wasn't she actually one of the characters they wre desperate to get rid of by using the dream?

Yeah Angelica Nero was part of the dream season so theoretically she doesn't really count.

Perhaps if written brilliantly it could be a clever twist on it if Pam was still on the show- after all, it was her dream- but I don't think the writers will want to remind anyone of an almost universally hated storyline which some feel was the time it jumped the shark.

I doubt they'll link new plot points to anything that happened in season 11 or onward when most people had stopped watching.
It would be cute, though, if they gave a nod to that era with a scene of Elena shopping for a memorable dress at a store owned by Angelica or something like that. After all, the best part of that season was Angelica's wardrobe.

Maybe Angelica Nero could wake up and reveal she's dreamed everything that's happened since 1986.

If this Angela Nero character 'really existed' then Bobby died! Which means WHAT for this season so far? Not to mention the last 5 of the old show?

No nO No It was Pam's nightmare!

And Sue Ellen would supposedly be dead or badly burned!!!!!!!!!!

My dearest friends, I do not agree with some of you. Our beloved Angie could have been part of Pam's nightmare; that does not mean she could not have been part of the "characters' reality". Sometimes I dream of people of the past, people I had forgotten... Angelica should be an old friend of Pam who had a big secret... and Marta del Sol, her daughter, is in Dallas to get a revenge, a big revenge about that secret. She could team with Lexie, Jamie Luner's character in Melrose Place, who, after being dumped by Dr Burns and having lost the Melrose complex, headed to Dallas and felt in love with Marta... Together they would prepare the big revenge... that would be the big season 1 cliffhanger everyone is speaking about! What do you think, my dearest Friends?

Who would like to see Angelica Nero and the wonderful Barbara Carrera back as Marta del Sol's sexy mother?

Not me. I never liked her, nor that ridiculous story line or her outfits.
Glad that the new Dallas obviously focuses more on returning or at least mentioning family members.
