I'm torn between Jack or Ray... Just because Jack has nothing to loose, and Ray is seeing Kat's best friend Kim, so the fallout would be nuclear.
She did look like she enjoyed herself against that worktop mind, but walked straight out to the pub afterwards, mucky cow.
So any thoughts, on this rather different kind of who-done-it [more who-done-her]?

This story is really scraping out the barrel in terms of EastEnders. Who cares who Kat is having an affair with as she has done it so many times in the past.

Well, it's not Max. They made him too big a red herring tonight imo.
I like it, it's a slightly more light-hearted summer mystery, that will lead to big Autumn Heartbreak.
And of course we have Ben to be found out, Joey Branning ruffling feathers, and the Janine/Michael/Scarlet drama. As I've said before on here, EE is having quite a strong summer for a change, though I could watch just stand-a-lone episodes Cora, as I love her so much.

personally the kat storyline is a cop out, kat wouldnt do that to alfie this time. big mistake.

now the positives: there are good soap actors and ee has many and then there is ann mitchell. ann's in a different class, bk may have made many mistakes, but casting ann as cora cross has to be the best descision he has made and the best casting in a soap since wendy richard as pauline fowler

a stand alone ep would be amazing. June brown was superb when she did her monalogue.

when lorraine newman has settled into her role as ep and coming up to christmas ee will be top notch and the soap nobody will want to be missing!

I really liked the sunny atmosphere this week - a great counterpoint to Kat sitting inside brooding. And Shirl's scenes with Jean on the roof were so good, like a little piece of theatre.

It's precisely the repetitiveness I find so affecting. Kat's stuck because of her past. She can't move forward, no matter how dramatically inconvenient it might be for some.

I suppose Kat does not know any other way. As we know she has cheated before. She is probably insecure with what she has.

It is so unbelievably stupid as Roxy Mitchell is just siting & waiting for an oppertunity and Kat has handed it to her on a plate. And Kat knows she's on the prowl. To top it off the Pub is rented by them and who owns it a Mitchell. This is not ending well for Kat, she could well find herself homeless as well as husbandless in a few months and there could be a new Mitchell land lady behind the bar. I know I nearly always get these things wrong but I have a feeling it is Michael which might explain Janene's depature in a few months and if it is Michael that would be sinking so low it is beyond belief ( a newly married man, whose baby is in the NICU, her husbands cousin, the man who just wripped her off and almost bought her aunt to breaking point). The consequences would be explosive which is why I think it is a very strong possibility.

Michael or Derek would certainly deliver the most drama but Ray seems the most obvious and Jack hasn't had much to do lately, has he?

I like the basic idea of the story - there certainly should be more intrigue and secrets from the viewer in a show like EastEnders. But then they sort of kicked themselves in the foot by "announcing" the storyline in advance and then going so OTT with it last week. It would have been more effective if they had allowed it to creep up on the viewer so that you're naturally asking who the guy is before you realise you're not going to be told....

i'm still leaning towards michael; this guy must have acccess to money and relistate, both the phone and the apartment availability are pointing to this. janine is a landlady so it is entirely possible it is an empty flat belong to her and he could have bought her the phone; although this does look very similiar to how max set up his affair with stacy and dereck could set this up too; their my favourite three possibilities with michael as the most likely imo. i just can't see why jack would not use his own apartment and i can't see him buying a phone but sometimes they pick the one that makes the least sense on purpose; i have the same feelings about ray; why wouldn't he use his own apartment and why would an employee spend their hard earned money buying their boss a phone and kim seems like a lot of fun i think it is more likely they will let the returning bianca cause trouble in that relationship
