Dead family members

I've seen a few sources listing both Sue Ellen's mother and Cliff and Pam's aunt and cousin as dead. Was this really confirmed anywhere on the show?

I don't remember anything on the show saying that. Pam's cousin? Is that cousin Jimmy? He was like this cute kid who only showed up once, he was Lucy's age, I thought- so it would be surprising if he was dead.

Agreed, I don't know why any of them would be dead. I mean, okay, now age-wise Pam's aunt and Sue Ellen's mother may realistically be an age where it's unlikely they'd be alive, but I certainly recall no confirmation on that subject.

no but both actresses have passed away so its likely they will have the characters dead in the canon.

Jimmy showed up twice, played by two different actors (the second of these made some appearances as Andy Moore on Knots Landing before later appearing on Dallas as Lee McHenry...during Pam's dream). Jimmy came to the barbecue. In the next episode, he took Lucy to see Valene.

Sue Ellen's Mom never died on camera, she last appeared in season 9 or 10, I believe. Of course, Rebecca dies in the plane crash so Pam's Mom we know is gone.

I got the impression Jimmy could be dead and aunt Maggie when Pam was in the fiery car crash.I remember Bobby saying to the Dr at the hospital her brother Cliff was her only other relative.Neither characters were mentioned during Pams accident.I believe aunt Maggie would have came to visit Pam in the hospital if she was still alive
