Season One Cliffhanger Ideas??

All in all I have to say TNT has done an outstanding job with the new Dallas. Sure all us former vewers have comments on the shows content as it relates to the former series but if Larry, Patrick and Linda felt it was true to the original series, that sold me.

I just wonder about this seasons cliffhanger. From the cast interviews, it is going to be real good. I personally think one of the three ideas listed below may be part of it.
1. Pam (or some image of her) returns.
2. Christopher really is JR's son from Kristin
3. John Ross is really Cliff Barns son.

I know Bobby found medical records that indicated Kristin miscarried JR's child and there was a paternity test done to prove JR is John Ross father BUT this is a show that brought someone back from the dead so anything is possible.

I think it may be something more to do with the scam Rebecca's been pulling on Christopher with her brother.

1) Bobby will be rushed to the hospital because he had a heart attack,

2) J.R. will be on the brink of losing everything again

3) Rebecca will discover Christopher in bed with Elena

4) John Ross will prove to be the true Ewing

I don't think even Kristen knew who the father was of the baby she lost. She was also taking money fro Jordan Lee claiming he was the father.

I think a season finale could be about Bobby's health problems or something happening with Southfork and all the Ewings find out they're going to be thrown off the ranch.

I think the cliff hanger will be Christopher in the hospital after being in an explosion from his alternative energy. Cliff will go and meet with someone for coffee and tell her that she has to come back to Dallas. it will be revealed to be Pam.

i think the cliff hanger will be the Venezuelans gain control of Southfork. as the show ends the whole family is united and confronting the Venezuelans in the living room...thats when the Venezuelans say "you have not met the man behind us...the man who has been funding us and who is now the new owner of Southfork...."

camera pans back to the Ewings looking at one another..

then back to the Venezuelans where behind them...slowly rolling into the living room on his wheelchair comes......

i think the cliff hanger will be the Venezuelans gain control of Southfork. as the show ends the whole family is united and confronting the Venezuelans in the living room...thats when the Venezuelans say "you have not met the man behind us...the man who has been funding us and who is now the new owner of Southfork...."

camera pans back to the Ewings looking at one another..

then back the Venezuelans where behind them...slowly rolling into the living room on his wheelchair comes......

I think it's possible some scene of Victoria could be tacked on- though I don't think it's part of the main story. I think something will happen to Sue Ellen where you think she is dead. I do think Bobby will have heart attack, that scene of the doctor giving him the pills and saying "side effects may include heart failure"- now this is a treatment for CANCER so it really makes no sense to say that unless they plan on Bobby having a heart attack, I don't know that for sure, it's just me speculating because it seems absurd for that to be in there. Rebecca's parents will be revealed, though I don't know who they are and I don't think it's Cliff but it's probably someone we know

I can see a climactic scene where the Venezuelans appear to have succeeded in getting Southfork, but it's not all that exciting since we would be fairly certain that the situation would not be permanent. I want to see Sue Ellen somehow manage to pull JR and John Ross's fat out of the fire and save the day if and when something like that happened.

I wonder if the cliffhanger will be structured to have some health issue for J.R., just on the outside (heaven forbid) chance that Larry's health worsens during the offseason and he can't return. He looks better now in his TV interviews, but he is 80, his wife is ill, and you never know about relapses or how priorities change.

Lets be honest...what could be a better cliffhanger than Bobby is home at SF, the doorbell rings and its....Victoria Principal as Pam. End of Season 1.

I wonder if the cliffhanger will be structured to have some health issue for J.R., just on the outside (heaven forbid) chance that Larry's health worsens during the offseason and he can't return. That reminds me of how they would ship off Miss Ellie (and Jock) at the end of every season finale.

Rebecca is in a car accident, and is in Dallas Memorial Hospital, and the last scene has her spilling her guts to Christopher
about everything, then she flat-lines, and we won't know if she lives until season 2.

I think it will be a multi-story arc cliffhanger. I think Sue Ellen will be shot because out of the original trinity, she was the only one who wasn't. I also think the cliffhanger will have something along the Elena vs Rebecca rivalry. Plus, Bobby will collapse and be rushed to the hospital. I honestly, am not worried about how it will end the season for John Ross and Christpher.
