Here you are. I thought I'd wait and let you post first. Cool towel.

Shall we start by celebrating Wimbledon and its players of the past? Here's a documentary of my favorite player:

Awesome video, Minx! Nothing will ever compare to these two when they played at The All England Lawn and Tennis Club!

Neither of those girls seems happy unless she's attracting attention to herself. One down, one more to go.

I'm trying to figure out who to root for this time around. I like a good underdog story.

How about Andy Roddick? He's been a great ambassador for the sport and it's possible that this will be the final Wimbledon championships he'll play.

Personally, I can't see past Nadal in the Mens and Kvitova in the Womens.

It's scorching hot here today but the rain's coming tonight so we could be down to play on a single court tomorrow.

I'm not getting any Wimbledon coverage here. It's ticking me off. What are you guys watching? A special sports channel?

It's on the BBC, the public service broadcaster, here in the UK.

I believe in the USA, it's aired on NBC.

    A question for Mrs JR

In your part of the world which pundits / commentators does the American TV coverage use?

So far, the BBC team has comprised Tim Henman, John McEnroe, Tracy Austin and Boris Becker.

Well English Boy and Minx, NBC no longer has the contract for Wimbleton it is totally ESPN. so… The coverage goes back and forth between ESPN and ESPN2. The ESPN team consist of: John McEnroe, Chris Fowler, Darren Cahill, Cliff Drysdale, Mary Joe Fernandez, Brad Gilbert, Patrick McEnroe and Pam Shriver.

I'm screwed then. We ditched all our sports channels a couple of years ago as hubby's family tended to extend their visits when hockey and curling aired. Will have to find a good internet site to keep myself posted. I'm hoping one of our Canadian channels will air the finals.

That's interesting about NBC losing the contract; they televised Wimbledon for many many years.

I believe there's been some talk recently that Wimbledon could move from the BBC to one of the commercial networks. Apparently, the BBC have to show that they are in tune with the austerity measures which are currently being implemented by the Government and can't afford to get into a bidding war with their rivals. They have to be seen to share the nation's pain.

However, I think if it was to move on to one of the pay per view outfits which many people do not even have access to then I think this would seriously devalue Wimbledon as an event.

I don't think they are strong enough to measure Sharapova's screeching.
