Well English Boy and Minx, NBC no longer has the contract for Wimbleton it is totally ESPN. so… The coverage goes back and forth between ESPN and ESPN2. The ESPN team consist of: John McEnroe, Chris Fowler, Darren Cahill, Cliff Drysdale, Mary Joe Fernandez, Brad Gilbert, Patrick McEnroe and Pam Shriver.

I'm screwed then. We ditched all our sports channels a couple of years ago as hubby's family tended to extend their visits when hockey and curling aired. Will have to find a good internet site to keep myself posted. I'm hoping one of our Canadian channels will air the finals.

That's interesting about NBC losing the contract; they televised Wimbledon for many many years.
I believe there's been some talk recently that Wimbledon could move from the BBC to one of the commercial networks. Apparently, the BBC have to show that they are in tune with the austerity measures which are currently being implemented by the Government and can't afford to get into a bidding war with their rivals. They have to be seen to share the nation's pain.
However, I think if it was to move on to one of the pay per view outfits which many people do not even have access to then I think this would seriously devalue Wimbledon as an event.
