Should Amanda die in a Parisian tunnel?

We've had some discussion that a new DYNASTY should perhaps have Krystle and Alexis at each others' throats over Blake's death, both blaming the other.

Should Amanda die early on in a Diana-style accident that Alexis can also blame on Krystle and recently-departed Blake? Or maybe Alexis is in the car with Amanda, and is charged with her daughter's death --- resulting in a trial reminiscent of Blake's S1 Ted Dinards prosecution?

Considering that, as someone posted, THEY thought of Amanda as their little Princess Diana and with that Royal Dress of the Royal Wedding being inspired, I mean, copied from the Real Royal Dress worn by the Real Princess Diana, I can see your point though I do not like it.

Nevertheless, I wonder whether Nolan Miller would be inspired by the Real Clothes worn by Princess Diana that night. Should Amanda have her own "Diana-inspired" outfit as she did with the Wedding Dress?

Ahhhhh no. Though she should still be the princess of Moldavia but exiled and living in Paris. She tours Europe often and rarely comes to denver... I mean why would she? Her family are bonkers and she was brought up in london! And she has the Moldavian fortune to live off. I wouldn't kill her Diana style. Thats tacky even for DYNASTY. But I would have history repeat itself another way. Perhaps her executed in a terrorist attack at an embassy or something.

It could happen before the pilot occurs: Blake and Amanda killed in the same car.

Its funny (and slightly eerie), because Amanda divorced her prince just like how Diana eventually did, and she also had a car accident in season 6. Only she survived, unlike poor Diana. But the funny thing about Amanda is that she was written when only the first part of Diana's story had happened. Back then, she was simply known for marrying a prince and having a fairy tale wedding. Now, Lady Diana is remembered for her many charity acts, her divorce from Charles, her loving relationship with her sons, her romances after Charles, and her tragic death.

Maybe this time around, Amanda can still be a Diana, where she's involved with several charities and has herself romances akin to Diana's? Like, I've wondered what if Rashid Amid had a nephew that wanted revenge on the Carringtons for his uncle's death, but after laying eyes on Amanda, he fell head over heels for her - only unlike with Michael Cullhane, he doesn't decide to turn over a new leaf, but instead conspires to have her entire family executed but made to look like an accident so that she can remain with him.

And I thought of something else: what if the way how Blake died was in a car accident, and Amanda just so happened to be the one driving? That would actually give the Carrington sisters enough fuel to be at each other's throats in the new show (should it ever become a reality). Fallon would be blaming Amanda for the whole thing, but would also be jealous of her sister because Amanda was with Blake during his dying moments (maybe Blake's last words were to Amanda, "I love you", which would really drive Fallon crazy). Fallon could even sneer at all the charities that Amanda donates to, but Amanda retorts that at least she knows that if Blake were still alive, he'd be proud of how Amanda turned out, and not Fallon (who has a robot son, a sex-crazed bi-sexual daughter, several failed marriages, and countless escapades with all her 30-year-old male secretaries). And then as if that were not enough, Fallon finds out that her little sister has been seeing ex-husband Jeff behind her back... but, heh, anyway...

Although, in my alternative DYNASTY universe, Amanda died in the planned-but-never-happened avalanche at the end of Season 7 which disrupted Adam and Dana's wedding.

Have it be something creative, like being struck by lightening; pasted by a bus; shot by a jealous wife.

Stuff like that.

Although, in my alternative DYNASTY universe, Amanda died in the planned-but-never-happened avalanche at the end of Season 7 which disrupted Adam and Dana's wedding.

In my alternative DYNASTY universe, she is very much alive and had an alexis-style comeback to Denver after being banished and living in exile for what she did circa 1989-1990.

Or, to go in a completely different direction; tell the entire family to stuff it, and become a nun in a teeny little out of the way village in the back end of beyond, in charge of an orphanage and using her inheritance from Blake to finance it.
