Pay per view in Europe?
Hi all Dallas fans,
I am a fan of the series along with all the rest of you. I have been looking forward to this Dallas 2012 since I first heard about it from a Danish Tabloid paper long ago. Now it finally happens and I really wanna see this. I just have one huge problem.
I live in Denmark (small country in Northern Eurpe) and can not catch TNT from here. I have been searching TNT's website in the hope of finding a way to watch this series on a pay per view basis each week as the episodes play, but to my big dissapointment that does not seem to be an option. I found out that you can actually see the episodes for free on the website, but then I have to be a customer of one in a number of Television companies but naturally enough I am not, as they all seem to be American (either way I never heard of any of them). That simply seems to shut me off completely and not even pay per view seems to be an option, which actually surprises me in a country like USA. I tried contacting TNT regarding this issue but never recieved an answer. Now I am stuck and the premier just comes closer and closer - I just have to be on from the very beginning, I really have to.
So now it seems I'm gonna have to wait until some channel in Danish Television decides to buy this (that could be years, if ever, and I can't even stand the thought of that) or wait until the DVD release and then purchase the whole thing, but as with TV there is no way of telling if or when that will ever be available in my little country. I really wanna be right there when it starts off as I have been waiting for this in years!
Is there really no legal way to get to see this at the very beginning (I never do anything illegal and would certainly not consider options like that)? I don't mind if it is pay per view, even if the price is rather steep. All that matters is that I can see this as it all begins in a few days.
I hope somebody from your side of the ocean has knowledge of where to turn in order for me to achieve this goal and I really hope to hear from you soon.
Please help me.
Regards from a Frustrated Dane

The episodes should be available to download from iTunes shortly after airing.
That, at least, is what I am hoping.

You will not be able to watch it legally outside of the US on any catch-up on demand service. The rights will be for US only until they are broadcast in your country.
Of course people from US can record the series and send it out for personal use and I'm sure it will be on some piracy site for download. But TNT are hot on the trail of any downloads so don't expect it on Youtube.

Damn it - just got confirmation that SBS net in Denmark currently are in negotioations regarding this, but there is no contract yet - there has not even been made a decision. In other words it could be aired within weeks, months, years or NEVER! I can't stand this. While France, Germany, Finland and God knows what other European countries already are up an running, I am again to suffer for being an insignificant little Dane. Most of the time I just love to be that, but certainly not right now.
Anyone got a phone number to J.R.? I just know that he would be able to help me and he actually owes me one - believe that if you can.
I just won't give up this battle!
