"Failed to connect to forum" using Tapatalk

When trying to get onto the forum using Tapatalk, I keep getting a message saying "Failed to connect to forum. Please contact forum administrator if this problem persists".

It was working fine a couple of days ago. I'm just wondering whether anyone else has encountered this issue, and if it's a problem with the app or the forum.

Oh - never mind. It's working again. Though I'd still be interested to know whether anyone has any tips on this subject.

Mel--I get that issue every now and again with tapatalk (most recently today and yesterday) and I haven't figured any way around it other than to just leave tapatalk alone for a while and come back to it later. Invariably, it always ends up working later on.

Thanks Jason. It's helpful to know that. Sounds like it's just a glitch with the app that crops up every once in a while. It'll hopefully be rectified with an update at some point.

Not quite sure what tapatalk is, but I have a "smart" phone and for the past few days I have been unable to check SC on it for some reason.

Hi Daphne. Tapatalk is just a forum app. It makes reading and posting on SoapChat easier from mobile devices. I do hope you manage to get on using your smartphone soon.

It cost $2.99 here. I love it. It makes posting from my phone and uploading pictures really easy.

I'm using it now, just got new blackberry. I have to say I hate coming here on my phone. Lol though I couldn't use it last night for a bit. Do u guys come here a lot on ur phones?

I used to hate posting from my phone. I do it a lot more often now with tapatalk because the app makes it much simpler. (That sounds like a commercial.) In fact I post from work more often now because it is so much easier with with my phone now. Not sure that is a good thing.

I'm the same as Jason - I used to avoid using my phone or iPod unless I had to. I still prefer using a computer to come on, but Tapatalk has made using a phone to come on much more pleasant (God - now I sound like a commercial too).

Actually, I can't upload or attach any photos on the forum for some reason, but when I send pictures supported by Tapatalk they come through fine. So I'll be using it lots more for that.

I don't think I had to pay for it on my phone though I may be wrong. Its scary how much u can do with a phone now. Buying stuff, browsing etc I still prefare using a laptop to do those things though and phones for checking mail etc.
