Which Character Could/Should Have Been Gay or Lesbian?

How about Muriel???? That would have made perfect sense, since she never was really shown as having
a boyfriend....and after Lucy's rape/abortion ordeal(from Roger Larson), Muriel could have came out to Lucy,
and maybe something would have developed between them, and that could have really given some good Lucy
storylines.

Gary is another one, I've always called him, behind his back, "Gary the Fairy", that could have worked
for both Dallas and Knots Landing.

Muriel would have been good, Gary was a good candidate in the beginning but too many good plots came out of his heterosexuality on Knots Landing so I am glad he wasn't, I did think in the beginning of Dallas, perhaps that was also a reason they ran him off- it just seemed strange they would run him off just because he was an alcoholic- he didn't seem to do anything major bad to anyone- I could see if he killed someone like Sue Ellen did with her alcoholism, they might run him off, but I never thought that alone was a good enough reason why they all disliked him and Ellie put up with it.

They should have made Jamie a lesbian, she worked with her father in the oil fields, knew quite a lot about the oil industry,
and was sort of tomboyish, so they could have made Jamie a butch type, and maybe paired her up with someone besides
Cliff......could have worked, even more then Angelica/Grace.
