What was in the mansion attic?
Any opinion?

Mysterious letters? Damning evidence of scandal? Roger Grimes' brother?
I always liked the idea of a spooky pipe organ. Or a planetarium.

Rita Lesley. The authorities were led to believe that she and Joel Abrigore got away. And the viewers were led to believe everyone suddenly forgot about them.
Actually, Blake had the two scoundrels caught and punished. I don't even want to know what happened to Joel, but poor Rita has been locked in the attic since 1986.
I hear she's gone nuts and really thinks she's Krystle now. She still hopes Blake will save her.

A cradle with black drapery and all sorts of satanic relics.
For a short but crucial period Alexis was part of a Devil's cult.
It was Joseph who persuaded her to give her first son to that cult because they believed he was the New Dark Lord.
The kidnapping was faked, to fool Blake.
Of course Joseph wasn't a real believer. He just wanted to cause trouble between Blake and Alexis.
This is also the room where Joseph kept VHS copies of The Bitch and The Stud. You know, just in case.
Joseph and Alexis didn't know that another person found out about this room and the baby.
Right. Caress! This was her super-shocking secret!

All the dead bodies from when Blake was a young, ruthless wildcatter. He had to have made a lot of enemies, so he bumped them off, mummified them a la Norman Bates mom, and put them in the attic.
Either that, or his crazy second wife, kinda like Mr. Rochester's wife was completely nutso, and he kept her in the attic.

Blake's many white toupées.
Krystle's storage of her own parfum.
The corpse of Grandma Carrington.
Steven's Disney Princess Collection.
Fallon's Kama-Sutra.

A secret room with a secret content. Nobody knows where the room is but it is somewhere. An in-house legend of a secret room with a secret content, perhaps a demon.
Storage with dead babies body parts in jars and bottles for which the Carringtons have such a great taste.
Blake's other children between Alexis and Krystle who hanged flowers in the attic until Blake poisoned them with sugar candies.
An ancient evil that lives locked up in the attic. Evil so evil that no body dares to mention it. The evil with which the young Carringtons made a pact...and double crossed the evil bloke and locked him there so that he will not take their souls as a payback.
A portal to the other dimension.
And a solarium with lots of flowers and plants of uncertain origin and usage where the 1960's Alexis, Caress, Sable and Frankie had one of those wild parties with Jason, Blake, Philip, Ben and Cecil as well as with Connie, Marylin Monroe and Jayne Mansfield and with many others.

A horrifically decayed Alicia Anders who's boney petrified corpse hand clutches a suicide note detailing all sorts of debauchery and wicked ways with all and sundry.

And Lord Lucan and Princess Anastasia Romanov, and of course the phantom of the Opera. Well the organ won't play itself.

Steven has a Disney Princess collection? I always thought he was a closest comic book geek, with loads of stuff from the 60's and 70's featuring Batman, Superman, Thor, etc. As well as Kung Fu Magazine, featuring Bruce Lee at his most well defined stage.
Adam hid the corpse of his grandmother, favorite cat, and all of the voodoo dolls that he made of the various family members that screwed him over. Which is just about everyone except Kristina, cuz she's too little. But just wait until she's a teenager; she'll have a king sized one.

could anybody's organ be spookier than Blake's ??

Perhaps Josephs, I would imagine that Peter De Vilbus would have a particularly decrepit organ also. Terrifying infact...

Do think Joseph ever was on Blake's organ -- you know, playing it?

Of course, making up that cot bed in Blake's room while he was blind. His jealous contempt for the present and the previous Mrs Carrington's. Reading aloud to Blake while Krystle potterd around in the library in a peach satin monstrosity and swirled brandy around in her glass devastated. Joseph putting down the book and getting ready to play a new piece on Blakes organ.

I'd assume Joseph also kept his old tabloids up there, and paparazzi shots of Alexis and her row on that Greek Tycoon's yacht with his wife, that wretchedly unhappy woman.
Coincidentally, I just found out that my parents saw Maria Callas perform live 50 years or so ago. I never knew that... Although I did know my dad saw Mary Martin in London doing "South Pacific" about 60 years ago, with Larry Hagman in the show (although no one knew who he was back then)... Ahh, the secrets of old folks.

I think that Adam has a jeweler's shop up there, so he can recreate the One Ring, and take over the entire family, thereby becoming the New Lord Sauron.

The complete collection of the National Enquirer, the special editions of "The Bitch" and "The Stud" (property of Joseph, of course), and a vault full of Krystle´s many identical wigs.
