Based on tonight's performances I think it will be Tyler, Bo, Vince and Leanne going through to next week's finale.

Ruth was horrendously bad tonight IMO

I think either Bo or Tyler will win the final.

Bo i think is going through; max is out. I think Tyler has it over Jaz, he's just that bit more interesting. vince will get there over becky, but the problem is, becky is the one i could see having a career her voice is so different. If leanne & ruth could both go through it would be great; on tonights performance Leanne deserves it but I just adore Ruth; i just strongly feel she is a real star something really special, i would love to get to hear her sing in the finals. so it is difficult; we'll just have to wait and see what happens; my preferences are ruth, becky, bo and tyler but i expect it to be leanne, vince, bo and tyler. as my two favourites becky and ruth will probably go i'm not sure if i will continue watching next week.

a little bit disapointed een though i thought it would happen i was still hoping ruth would go through, i hope tom keep's his word and helps her if that voice gets trained, it will be truely amazing; and i hope it isn't the last of becky either.

I think Ruth really let herself down in the semi finals.

Perhaps the occasion got to her but I wasn't surprised at all to see her voted off in last night's show.

I'm really pleased for Bo & Tyler, these two have been my favourites from the start, they both bring something different to the show and I hope we'll see a CD release from both of them, I would certainly be interested in hearing it.

I always thought Tyler would lose out to Ja at the last hurdle, but after Saturday night's performance I knew Tyler had it in the bag.

I wasn't too surprised at Ruth not getting through, she kinda started to go backwards, whereas Leanne really pulled it out of the bag. That said I have no interest in Leanne, she is like another Mariah or Whitney for me.

Vince killed Back In Black for me, he has an unusual voice, but it's not my thing.

My thoughts too (after the show)

I will be very happy with either of these winning.

Though I have no idea how to understand the betting odds, I'm going to go with Bo as the winner of this series.

Bo Bruce will tackle Sinead O'Connor's 'Nothing Compares 2 U', before covering Professor Green & Emeli Sande's 'Read All About It' with her coach Danny O'Donoghue.

Vince Kidd is tackling Jimmy Cliff's 'Many Rivers To Cross' and a duet on 'Nobody's Perfect' with Jessie J.

Leanne Mitchell will cover James Brown's 'It's A Man, Man, Man's World', before singing 'Mama Told Me Not To Come' with Sir Tom Jones.

Tyler James is covering Michael Jackson's 'I'll Be There' and then teaming up with will.i.am on Usher's 'OMG'.

The four coaches are scheduled to perform a medley of their hits together. Jessie, Jones, will and O'Donoghue will mash up 'Price Tag', 'Breakeven', 'Where is the Love?' and 'It's Not Unusual'.

Here's my take on it. On the basis of tonight's performances alone this is how I'd rank tonight's contestants.

    1. Leanne (I loved the duet with Mr Jones)
    2. Bo
    3. Tyler
    4. Vince.

I think Leanne wanted to win it more than the others and it showed in her performances. She was the hungriest for it.

However, here's the problem. Although she deserved to win it and I don't wish to rain on anyone's parade, of the 4 contestants I think she is the least distinctive and I personally do not think she is a star.

Also, as a ballad singer she will be competing in what is an already very crowded market with your Leonas, Celines, Mariahs etc. That's why I personally think either Tyler or Bo would probably fare better in terms of sustaining a recording career in the music industry now that the talent contest has ended. They're more quirky and distinctive which would make it easier for them to stand out in a crowd. It would also make them eaiser to market. They're also more likely to appeal to the demographic which actually buy music.

I hope I'm wrong and I'm happy to be proved wrong but I just get the feeling that in 12 months from now we'll be reading that one hit wonder, Leanne has been dropped from her record label

Fantastic finale I loved nearly everything, the duets we absolutely brilliant.

Really disappointed with Leanne winning the show. I agree she has a great voice but in all honesty she does nothing for me, we already have more than enough women with big voices out there..

Englishboy I agree about the 12 months scenario too.

I hope (and believe) both will.i.am and Danny will produce something with their group winners and I know that should Bo or Tyler release a CD I'll be buying without any hesitation.

That said I really did enjoy the whole evening, though it had quite a fast ending, there was little suspense and did we actually get the best bits from the final 3 ?

leanne was the best tonight; you might be right englishboy about her not being a star. however, she clearly is a young woman so we will have to wait and see. bo and tyler are both interesting but there not my cup of tea, neither is vince. my tips to look out for becky and ruth; although ruth has let herself down by being such a sore looser, she should have been there supporting the contetants tonight; that said i still love her and can't wait to hear her in concert. also, you got to hand it to tom, he picked two outstanding singers in the blind auditions and i'd love to see the results because i think he is right ruth and leanne would both have been in the top four and i think vince may not have made it. i'd like to see the results to check this out.

Such a quick ending that very little was said to promote Leanne's winning single 'Run To You' being available to buy or download.

Currently (in the mid-week chart update) she is sitting with a new entry at number 27 in the charts.

Bo Bruce has appeared in the album charts with 'Search The Night' at number 19

    Shocking....

I read they cancelled 5 shows then later pulled the plug on the rest. Quite embarrassing for the first series.

They released a CD 'The Voice UK, The Final 8 - The Album' which also includes performances from Ruth Brown, Jaz Ellington, Becky Hill and winner Leanne Mitchell.

Leanne Mitchell's single 'Run To You' failed to reach the singles top 40 on Sunday, but a further official 'winner's single' is expected to be released in the future.
Another 'Winner's single'....? Who are they kidding?

I do hope Bo Bruce releases something I found her voice amazing.
